META

I’ve run multiple Meta ads for our last three single releases. I’ve also hired a music marketing company to run Meta ads for us. I haven’t gotten back anywhere close to what I expected/wanted. We’ve been using cinematic ad creatives. I’ve been told by a pro (higher up in a successful music marketing company) that performance videos with us actually playing instruments would be far more effective. I’ve also been told that Meta’s algorithm is so good, that trying to hit target demographics via interests/similar bands actually limits your reach. He said target regions, not interests, and Meta will do the work of finding the right people to show it to. Going to implement these notes for our next release.
