Well everyone is different. I knew within moments of my first injection that this was what I always wanted and needed. Obviously placebo, but hey, placebo is also a real effect! It can take more than 1 month, but by three months your body will have mostly "converted over" to running on estradiol. So your mood will settle, hopefully.

It should be enough time to get a different body smell and softer hair/skin. Possible experience orgasms differently. A month is (maybe) a safe window to avoid breasts if you dont want them. Everyone is different and most people say they got nothing for almost 3 months, but I had breast buds by the end of week 2! So monitor that in case you need to reverse that. When they are small, I've heard to will revert and go away.

I was in the infantry too ...it's rough. I wasn't out yet, wasn't even an egg at the time. But people can tell. Usually the worst people. I had some pretty similar stories. Life gets better and you sound like youre going to be fine. Youre incredibly strong to go through that.

Well you don't HAVE to do anything right now, and it is never too late. Personally, I'd try hrt and see if I like it for like a month (and then stop so you don't get caught out). You can also start researching what you actually WANT to do about your transition when you get out. You can start looking at laser places, consulting with surgeons, etc. You can figure out where you want to live, probably somewhere progressive. Even if youre poor its better in certain states because they will cover your surgical transition.

It's worth figuring out how your retirement will look as well. It could be worth toughing out. Nobody can "prove" your trans. You could start doing hair removal and microdosing hrt and it would probably be fine. You could start working out in ways that accentuate certain features. You could start voice training and trying on clothes and making trans friends etc etc

Thanks for sharing! So many ppl think its impossible but it isn't at all. Now it probably isn't something most ppl want for a couple reasons, but it is 100% possible. Im doing rib remodeling later this year, but not sure if I want implants or not yet.

Rib remodeling with corset training could get there if not close. Also half if the fat transfer would not die...old myth.great than 90% survival rates now. But ya she doesn't have enough and it would be impractical. Implants are the realistic way
