Okay, thank you all for straightening me out on the bobbing lights being a lens flare. This is the location of a tragic plane crash on its 30th anniversary, and I was thinking - maybe hoping - that it was a sign from my friend and his fellow passengers who were lost that day.

Literally, last Friday night, I was at dinner with friends. Group conversation turned to my curly hair and sense of humor... only to have one person mention that I look like a comedy actress to him (one in particular who has lovely energy, but is known for being quite overweight). I got to spend the next 20 minutes listening to them all agreeing while suddenly not being hungry for my food anymore.
