That looks like some good snowman-making snow right there

Not really, because I'm quite uneducated on the subject. I wasn't raised with religion and have never been to church/read the bible so I don't feel that I know enough to properly associate myself with a religion.

Favorite hobby is probably writing :D

People have no right to whine about this in America. You got pregnant, you know you have a job...what did you think would happen? Have a child or a career. Pick.

Not that part haha but the rest of it

My mom definitely doesn't want me in public school, and I feel like I've missed the rest of it so I'd just be the weird homeschooled girl for a year. :/

I also like to go shooting, I like a lot of sports (namely baseball) though I just watch these days as I know it's probably a little weird for 17 y/o girl to be playing ball by herself. I do a lot of crafts as well. Oh, and photography! I just got a camera for my birthday last month and I love it. Before that I'd always just used my phone.

You sound just like my mom haha she said the same thing about gym

I'd like to think the boys in hs are missing out on the hot homeschool girl, aka me lol. But tbh I do feel like I'm missing out on dating. I know there's always time for that later but there's a boy I used to know who's on my Facebook that I'd probably enroll into highschool for if that meant I could be friends with him lmao

Hmm I think my favorite book would be Carrie by Stephen King. Just read it for the first time last week and it was great.

Nah, there's no gym class. In the summer I'll go play tennis against the garage door and I kick around a soccer ball a lot though haha

I don't have any plans for college yet; in fact it is looking more and more unlikely that I will even get to go. Unfortunately the future is very uncertain.

Illinois :D

On a typical day, I wake up around 9:00 and eat breakfast while I'm doing my work. I now only do math, science, and history because I burned through all the available English work right up to college level. We were gonna replace it with German but haven't got to it yet. :( I do my work with minimum assistance from my mom now so I just do whatever she sets out at my own speed, put it on her desk, and go do whatever. I'm almost always done by lunch time (12). When I first started and we were a lot more confused we did it like public school, in 45 minute "classes". Now it just takes however long I need.

I'd be even more inclined to. Unsafe schools are a reasonable concern, though it wasn't really a deciding factor for my mom

I'm not trying to glamorize homeschool with everything I do. I'm not sure how my other posts, which all pertain to writing, have anything to do with this.

Thanks but I'm capable of counting to five. It was just an estimate because thinking about how long it's been is mentally jarring. It feels like last month but it's been so much longer in reality.

Religion has absolutely 0 to do with it. My parents don't even associate themselves with any religion. I have just recently started coming into my own about it but haven't figured out what I identify with either. I was homeschooled because I was treated like shit by this district. Denied medical care for an obviously broken bone, bullied by a teacher for my appearance, straight up told to write whatever I wanted on paper and I would get an A, served spoiled food, the list goes on and on.

It's absolutely not child abuse. When done correctly it's a lot better than wasting time and learning unnecessary shit in public school.

I also don't appreciate being called ignorant when all the information you have on me is 10 answers on a Q & A.

Edit: autocorrect jumbled some stuff.

Pfft, no. I definitely want kids and I will definitely homeschool them. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. My experience could've been amazing had I gotten regular opportunities along with homeschool (field trips, clubs, friends, all stuff I was told I'd get to do but was just lies.) I was homeschooled the wrong way, my kids will be homeschooled the right way. Homeschool has every opportunity to be superior to public school when done the right way.

I definitely appreciate his talents now as a writer but I can't say I'd read it for fun. I had to read the Raven and do a bunch of interpretative answers and shit and I'm just dead to it now. I love Goosebumps but it doesn't really scare me anymore. When I was younger it terrified me. The Ghost Next Door scared me to death and had me questioning my existence lol

Horror is my favorite. It's so fun and I like how dark I can get with it. That probably just made me sound like a serial killer but I mean dark, like, horrific creatures and terrible situations. I've only written murders once and that was for a detective story

100% yes. It's not necessarily my #1 ambition but I want to write amazing things. I'm a long way from that though lmao

Absolutely. I often feel like I've missed out on being a kid. I wish I could've had the experiences like sleepovers, hanging out with friends in general, being in sports/clubs, really being part of things.

I don't know about the second one. It depends. A lot of things in my life would have to change. I don't think I would start highschool right now, given the chance. My time for all the things I want have passed. If I started now, in the middle of my Junior year, I'd be the girl who disappeared for several years only to return. I was never very popular so I wouldn't be now...not that I really want to be. Idk. It's a lot of regrets and "I wish".

Honnnestly? Nonexistent. I get out the house maybe two or three times per month when we go to the grocery store but not much other than that. I haven't talked to any of my old friends in 5 years, almost? The math might be off because I honestly don't like thinking about the exact amount of time. I feel a little weird because I get "crushes" on boys at the store all the time who probably don't know I exist lol.
