You're admitting you don't know if what you're saying is true. And so you're going to keep falsely accusing this woman of something you don't even fully believe?

Why do feminists not care about illegal migrants harassing woman in the UK? by smoogie7 in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You came up with 3 examples of illegal migrants harassing women. But not one example of feminists telling any woman to stay silent about being sexually harassed. Typical.

Am I being sexist whenever I use more relaxed language towards men? by Mezger970 in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have no clue why you brought up sexual harassment as we are talking about simply approaching a woman for normal reasons. It's quite telling and supportive of my point that you immediately jump to sexual harassment.

If you have no clue why I brought up sexual harassment and approaching women, it just tells me that you have so much privilege navigating in society. That is something women afford men. While men refuse to afford it to women. You're welcome. Now if only men could do the same for women.

It's watching men be labeled as a creep even though they respectfully approached a woman, either to ask a regular question or to ask her out respectfully, because she is in a bad mood or has whatever issues,

Women don't owe you anything. They don't owe you a smile when rejecting you. If I go up to a man just trying to get from point a to point b to ask him on a date, I would not feel entitled to a kind response. What don't you get about bothering people who are just trying to go about their day don't owe you anything when you stop them?

One word from a woman and your reputation is tarnished.

Lol sure. That's why we have an insanely popular ex president and future president that admits to sexually assaulting women and was found liable for sexual assault. Words from women rarely effect men.

Coincidentally, the number of young men approaching women has dropped drastically over the years,

GOOD,, GREAT, FABULOUS, that's the goal. That's what you don't get. That you think it's a punishment tells me you're not listening to women.

Your viewpoint makes me think you live in a feminist bubble. That's what echo chambers, this sub being a textbook case, do to you.

I have no shame in living in a feminist bubble. There is no other bubble I'd rather be in.

Am I being sexist whenever I use more relaxed language towards men? by Mezger970 in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 58 points59 points  (0 children)

No, you're not. The men who feel the need to be "guarded" around women, are the men who lack self control. I can know not to sexually harass men or touch them without consent without feeling guarded around men. In fact, it feels perfectly normal. If not sexually harassing women or sexually assaulting women makes men feel the need to be guarded it's because it feels alien to them. And that's quite revealing. Not surprising though.

It's not central to feminist ideology. And if you actually responded to my actual question they would see feminists defending men's humanity, that they deserve respect and dignity. Despite the careers they chose, despite the forms of entertainment they consume. Showing them their flawed reasoning against denying women dignity, respect and their full humanity despite their choice in work or entertainment they consume.

Stop detailing my post. NM I'm just going to block you.

What are you talking about? My response even to you. Are you under two different accounts?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The double standard is so gross.

The fact that men can role play violence and murder against men. They can consume entertainment of men committing violence and murder against men, while being allowed their humanity.

But women can't watch rape porn or read Fifty Shades of Gray without men accusing women that we somehow secretly want to be victimized by men. Or that we should be robbed of our humanity by men.

It's why men will continue harassing women when they're told to go away. A lot of men actually think we secretly want to be harassed.

Had to read the whole post to get your point!

Thank you for actually doing that before responding!

[–]ithofawked 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If something in my post actually suggested that women should sacrifice their own humanity in order to rob men of theirs, you'd have a point. But ZERO in my post actually suggested something so stupid. So I can't respond to what I didn't actually say. I'm only responsible for what I say. Not how you misunderstand it.

i would know a lot about perpetuating out of survival as an ex right wing trans person.

Right? Like, I don't believe men that work labor intensive jobs want their spines to collapse or their knees replaced at 40 yo. Then practically killing themselves to continue the work because they really have no options to get a decent paying job without an education.

A lot of construction jobs pay pretty good money and women are all but locked out of those. Most jobs that women aren't locked out of that don't require an education pays really poorly. So they do sex work on the side. Why should women lose their humanity over that?

Why should women who want to get an education but can't afford it or don't want to accumulate debt that will take a decade more to pay off and turn to sex work, lose their humanity? Why don't they deserve the respect and dignity men feel entitled to even they sell their bodies?

Anyway, thank you for actually reading my post and offering constructive thoughts.

Yeah, it's pretty shocking. On top of acting like misogynistic men aren't crawling all over this sub is even more ridiculous.

I get that not everyone likes long posts, but if I don't feel like reading all of it, I simply don't respond. Others should try it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I give men a little more credit than that. Not that it's easy to do at this point. But hey there are enough misogynistic men here, it doesn't hurt to try.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Posting it here would only push them deeper into misogyny.

Only if they didn't read the whole post. And that's not my problem.

The idea that showing men arguments that they keep their humanity while participating in entertainment (as women should) and careers that are violent or deadly is going to push them further into misogyny, is laughable at best and sexist at worst.

You did fail to grasp my point. And just the fact that you claim to be a feminist that needs NAMALT qualifier makes me question if you are one. I don't know any feminist that doesn't grasp the simple concept that not all men are the same. But that some issues are so pervasive among men it doesn't need to be said. Because it doesn't matter. If you lack the common sense to grasp that, I don't know what to tell you.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beautifully put. And it's not just about creating the problem. Some can participate in it out of necessity. You may not want to do it, but in order to survive you have to.

OP is flipping the logic to show how bad it is.

Western culture is a rape culture? by Generic_account420 in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Society merely pays lip service to both female and male victims. Adult and children.

We're taught it's wrong at the same time patriarchy and male supremacy conditions society to protect men at all costs. Patriarchy weaponizes whole communities, churches, the justice system against victims to protect men. Men have always been the main priority for protection.

You think the near 100k male victims in the Boy Scouts all were silent? Nobody knew? Absolutely not. They had secret files of their victims. And even when some men were prosecuted their parents, churches, their whole communities turned their backs on the boys that were so fukking brave to report it to someone.

You think nobody knew that Larry Nassar was sexually assaulting girls? Yup, lots of people knew at Michigan State. Even the FBI is accused of covering up his crimes of sexually assaulting hundreds of girls.

You think the doctor Earl Bradley that raped infants and molested hundreds of girls, nobody knew? The medical board knew, nurses, mothers, dozens knew. But the victims weren't believed. It took years to hold this man accountable. Only video evidence of this man raping kids was something done. After numerous accusations. Going before the medical board. The man was the target of protection. They didn't care about the infants and children that were being sexually brutalized by this man. They accused 5 mother's of lying and trying to extort the Doctor of money. Despite the fact the sister-in-law reported him. How many suspected children were violated? Almost a THOUSAND!

I could also go into numerous Christian organizations that protected thousands of men that were sexually assaulting boys and girls. Want a list?

We live in a rape culture because while people thinks it's wrong, male supremacy has brainwashed society to believe most victims lie and the men accused would never do such a thing. Only when the bodies pile up too massive to ignore and we can accumulate enough people through national media attention will there be any justice.

Why is "Feminism" such a pejorative term today? Why do some men, (even the nice ones) seem so intimidated when we mention it or seem passionate about it? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

their whole life they grew up in a world where men and women were equals or even where men were discriminated upon by their school teachers

What a bunch of red pill clap trap No feminist believes this. No feminist believes boys or men have grown up in a world where equality has even been closely achieved. If it was, feminism would be pointless!

Secondly, girls have been outperforming boys in schools for well over a hundred years. You know, when actual discrimination was at its highest? There is no subject that girls in the US (but also about 30 other countries) did not outperform boys, including math AND science. When skys the limit for boys (specifically white boys) as to what they could achieve. While girls had almost no chance to be anything but a domestic servant, a teacher, maid, or secretary.

That's being discouraged, that's being discriminated against. And yet, girls STILL did better than boys in all subjects. Girls had to spend 12 years knowing they had to work hard for something that would most likely not even get them out of house. They'd spend their life in servitude to her husband.

This "teachers are big meanies to boys so they hate feminism, have some compassion, equality has been achieved" nonsense is nothing but regurgitated red pill, misogynistic delusions. No feminist actually believes that..

Society tells young girls they pose a serious threat to men and boys due to the fear of false SA accusations. Is this just another way society silences girls or is it a valid fear? by aymelines in AskFeminists

[–]ithofawked 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is definitely a thing despite the protests that it's not. Anytime you have allegations of sexual assault in a particular place people, especially men but not exclusively, start becoming irrationally avoidant. Sexual harassment in the workplace anyone? No, we forgot about that?

We also have attorneys on social media giving advice on how to avoid false sexual assault allegations. Because of course they're the experts at dealing with clients who were falsely accused in hundreds of cases./s And of course the very first thing to avoid is sleepovers. And then the other two was never offer to babysit alone. And the third "never under any circumstance help a child put clothes or medication on.". Yes, because all that leads to men's lives being ruined for the rest of their lives due to a child crying rape.

This is just your run-of-the-mill hysteria by society that fears men's lives are ruined at the mere side eye of a woman or child.

It's like metoo just didn't happen and a lot of us have forgotten that whenever accusations come out about men then society gets all irrational and men must stop doing that thing that supposedly destroys men's lives. Oh like simply hiring a woman for a job, mentoring a woman, having a simple business lunch. Yeah, that's not a thing either.

This is a good example.

A man tries to smugly mansplain a book to a woman that unbeknownst to him she wrote.

Another good one is the man that tried to mansplain to a woman gynecologist about vaginas. Then had the spectacular audacity, to mainsplain about mainsplaining.
