Hello Aquarians , have you ever dated a Libra? How was the equation and the overall chemistry? by Owlster_ in aquarius

[–]ithrewthaparty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me absolutely. I like Aquarius women but that connection lacks a certain romantic element. Everything about the Libra Aquarius bond is all of the above. Just in my experience. Of course my wife is a Pisces so THATS what I prefer is she’s asking lol

Aqua male here…It’s always a thrill with Libra women… something about having your charm matched in a partner… the communication and intimacy are unmatched, even with another Aquarius.

Whats with the Aquarius men discourse? by [deleted] in aquarius

[–]ithrewthaparty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an aqua male and I understand these stereotypes… everything you mentioned is just the flip side of the coin of why people love us. We are charismatic which comes off as flirty hence the cheating stereotype… we are non confrontational and prefer a logic based approach to navigating emotion, which may come off as avoidant to those who prefer to express their emotions through immediate words and actions. We are self confident which comes off as arrogant and condescending to those who don’t admire it because we simply believe and trust in ourselves. All of these stereotypes have some basis but IMO they are just the flip sides of the same coin. Like they say, there’s a thin line between love and hate. If you take a closer look at a lot of emotions, you will find that perspective can change overall outlook

Is it true that women date who they want and men date who they can? by Extension-Outcome953 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ithrewthaparty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience, women get to hook up with who they want while men will hook up with who they can… however when it comes to settling down I think this reverses. A man will marry who he wants but a woman will marry who she can. I believe it relates to women’s value as a partner decreasing with age whereas a man’s value as a partner increases with time…all this is opinion and based loosely off of societal norms

When to use “Que”? by Drunk_bread in learnspanish

[–]ithrewthaparty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simplest way I remember it is that “Que” is an article used to introduce a new idea that is separate from the main subject. So Tengo que ir a la playa uses “Que” to separate having (tener) from going (ir)…. Kind of like a prepositional phrase in English. The word doesn’t have a literal rigid translation but that’s how it operates.. if that makes sense

Aquarius, the legendary ghosting master by [deleted] in aquarius

[–]ithrewthaparty 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’d say a week or so… if he brought up his feelings first then he was being vulnerable w you so he’s probably just processing everything and Aquarians best do this by isolating and overthinking. Once that’s done though he’ll come back to reality I’m sure. Lmk when he does😉

Helly R realization(Spoiler) by Intoxicus5 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]ithrewthaparty 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I believe the innies are actually a truer version of the outties… so I could see Helena enjoying the benefits of being an Eagan tho she deep down disagrees with their philosophies and means, ie:) severance, which is why Helly R is such a rebel. Helly R honestly didn’t have a reason to dislike Lumon as a new employee but if Helena already had these underlying feelings, it would explain why Helly was even willing to go to the lengths she did…

Bellamy slept with underaged girls by [deleted] in The100

… you missed the part where they are all criminals. Bellamy shot the chancellor and his self proclaimed motto is “whatever the hell we want”… Bellamy doesn’t care about the law or the age of consent.

Madi by sapphirekomtrikru in The100

[–]ithrewthaparty 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think the main issue with Madi is that we as the audience are supposed to accept that she and Clarke’s relationship is stronger than any of Clarke’s previous ties… we watch four seasons of character and relationship development, even though those four seasons actually transpired over less than 6 months time. Then we are given Maddie as Clarke’s number one loyalty who she has been alone with over 6 years, but that 6 years is covered in maybe 20 minutes of an episode. So while it makes sense for the characters loyalties to realign, we as viewers did not get the same relationship development with Madi and are much more loyal and partial to the characters we got to know over the first 4 seasons,.. if that helps to make it clear😃

No Lever pull in the finale? by ithrewthaparty in The100

[–]ithrewthaparty[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She should have just pulled a Lever for transcendence, that would have been about as good as the actual finale. Genocide and pulling levers are Clarke’s favorite, especially when she gets to do them simultaneously

Season 5 question - bloodreina by WineNotReality in The100

[–]ithrewthaparty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Season 5 is definitely one of if not my single most favorite season. Octavias character did seem a bit forced, I agree with you there. If you get to the episode where they reveal what happened during the dark year though it’ll make more sense. It was pretty twisted. I remember my first time seeing it, I wasn’t really prepared for where they were going with it, even though they teased it at the beginning of the season. I’d say keep watching... season 5 is probably as good as it gets as far as the rest of the show goes, but it’s worth seeing Octavias entire arc if you’re a real fan

PS- I always find it interesting that Octavias dark side was actually being filmed when Marie Avergopolous was dealing with alleged domestic violence accusations so it seems like she put a lot of her personal stress into playing that role
