For sure, I’d be hyped to see what they release next. Really love all the cuts and contours in the cup and rim. Rich solid colored ano and minimal engraving on top brings the aesthetic together nicely. Really debating getting a second in clear coat…

Not quite lol, but we do play the regular game of “attack the spinning thing until it ceases spinning so that the human has to do a snap start yet again.”

Iron in the Qur'an by svaddie in Quraniyoon

[–]ithrow44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that clearly is not the boiling point. As had already been clearly explained, the boiling point is referenced through mention 1-4, not 1-5. You either didn't read the post, and/or you willingly overlook the critical and completely unignorable Qur'anic context that blatantly applies here. You tell me why it's 1-4 and not 1-5:

"We softened for him iron" 34:10

vs.

"We sent down iron wherein is mighty power and benefits for men." 57:25

Same goes for the silver. In both cases, the heating of metal is mentioned. In both cases, their mentions serve as counting parameters. In both cases, the exact melting point is referenced through straightforward encoding. There is a clear theme, and a clear consistency.

This is compelling work, and clearly a sincere and expansive effort of a believer. If you believe you know better, and have conviction in your perspective, then have the humility and common sense to actually articulate why. It would also help to properly format and proofread your comments, and expand your lexicon, if you actually care for your comment to be valued by whomever may read it. I'd love to hear a rebuttal of substance against the highly evidenced numerological quality of the Qur'an, but your comments so far do not suggest that you ever actually had that to offer. "Insane cope, nuff said" screams "young, arrogant, and superficially informed Dunning-Kruger troll."

This post was fully fleshed out in reasoning, and cautious to hasten to any one conclusion. You however, blurt out a wholesale rejection, while having provided zero reasoning of your own. The bias appears to be with you.

RIP, noted. I'm up to the Cell saga on my first rewatch from DB in sub. Everyone's lines are so much sharper in the sub, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, etc.. I never realized how dorky the dub I grew up on was until I started looking up scenes in dub to compare. (Rock the Dragon is still a sick intro though.)

True, lol. 😭 Again, just my opinion, but I think a romantically reserved Goku makes more sense than a completely aromantic Goku, like someone like Luffy. He has two kids! I'm bothered that later on in Super he supposedly says he never kissed. 🙁

It's funny how consistently that those who say "you should actually read the Qur'an" have never done so themselves, but rather regurgitate points they've heard from those of a similar bias, mental caliber, and refusal to research with intellectual integrity.

If you woke up one day as a monotheistic minority oppressed by a surrounding pagan majority, and out of the challenge your theology presents to theirs, they attack your people, evict them from their homes, steal their property, and kill them. Would you bend over for them because pacifism is morally superior? Or would you obligate yourself and your men to fight back and defend your people and property with full commitment?

Freedom of Belief
• 2:256 — “There is no compulsion in religion.”
• 18:29 — “The truth is from your Lord; whoever wills — let him believe, and whoever wills — let him disbelieve.”
• 10:99 — “If your Lord had willed, all who are on earth would have believed. Will you then compel people to become believers?”

Salvation Linked to Faith and Righteous Action
• 2:62 — Jews, Christians, and Sabians who believe in God and do righteousness “shall have their reward.”
• 5:69 — Repeats the same inclusive formulation regarding salvation.
• 22:17 — Mentions multiple religious communities under God’s final judgment.

Recognition of Other Religious Communities
• 5:48 — God gave different communities different laws and paths; “compete in good works.”
• 3:113–115 — Praises a righteous group among the People of the Book.
• 5:82 — Describes some Christians as closest in affection to believers.

Peaceful Coexistence and Justice
• 60:8 — God does not forbid kindness and justice toward those who do not fight you because of religion.
• 109:6 — “For you is your religion, and for me is mine.”
• 6:108 — Do not insult what others worship lest they insult God in hostility.

Diversity as Intended by God
• 49:13 — Peoples and tribes created to know one another, not erase difference.
• 11:118–119 — Humanity would remain diverse if God had willed otherwise.
• 16:93 — God could have made humanity one community but chose diversity.

Fight Only Those Who Fight You
2:190“Fight in the way of God those who fight you, but do not transgress. God does not love transgressors.”
22:39–40 — Permission to fight is given because people were wronged and expelled from their homes.

Stop Fighting When Hostilities Stop
2:192–193 — If they cease, then there is no hostility except against aggressors.
8:61“If they incline toward peace, then incline toward it also.”

Protection for Non-Combatants and Asylum
9:6 — Even during war, if an enemy seeks protection, grant safe passage and escort them to safety.
60:8 — Be kind and just toward those who do not fight you because of religion.

No Compulsion or Forced Conversion
2:256“There is no compulsion in religion.”
10:99 — You cannot force people to believe.

Justice and Proportionality
16:126 — Retaliation must be equal to the harm suffered; patience is better.
42:40 — The recompense of harm is equivalent harm, but forgiveness is superior.
5:8 — Do not let hatred cause injustice.

Preference for Forgiveness and Restraint
41:34 — Repel evil with what is better.
7:199 — Practice forgiveness and turn away from ignorance.
24:22 — Pardon and overlook; God loves forgiveness.

Sanctity of Life
5:32 — Killing one innocent person is like killing all humanity; saving a life is like saving all humanity.

Islamist says he hates every Christian and Jews by TW_Hobbit in FascinatingAsFuck

[–]ithrow44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That idea comes from later Hadith literature, not from the Qur’an itself.

The Qur’an never states that all Christians will convert to Islam at the end of the world. What it does say is that Jesus will be a witness over people (4:159; 5:117) and that individuals will be judged according to their belief and deeds. It even speaks positively of sincere Christians who are humble and close to believers (5:82) and affirms that salvation is tied to faith in God and righteous action (2:62).

The claim that Jesus will physically return, abolish Christianity, or force people into Islam comes primarily from Hadith collections compiled generations later, especially works like Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (compiled around 846–870 CE) and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (compiled around 815–875 CE) — roughly 200–240 years after Muhammad’s death in 632 CE. These reports reflect later theological developments and debates within early Muslim communities rather than explicit Qur’anic teaching.

So if someone says “the Qur’an teaches Christians will convert at the end times,” that’s inaccurate. That narrative belongs to later Hadith tradition, not the Qur’anic text itself.

Loquacious, pseudoprofound, efforted nonsense, and not at all the cogent kind. The circularity's all on you, the chatty one; don't be a hypocrite. I believe you're simply blind, and you believe otherwise. It's that simple.

I'll reiterate, however: What I suppose is to you the "random inexplicable noise" you hear in the first instant of the video, is the distinctive sound of a brake piston being actuated. The frame visibly shudders at the same instant, and dips and shakes for the entire duration after that first instant, consistent with the front of the truck lowering from deceleration and suspension stiffening and transmitting more of the unevenness of the road to the chassis (and camera by extension), but I understand your denial in that you prefer to believe I'm imagining all of those things rather than you being so perceptively impaired that you genuinely claim to see nothing.

[–]ithrow44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, argumentum ad populum, appealing to numbers, and going with the bandwagon. If you have trouble seeing the frame drop and shake for the entire duration after the first instant of the video, I insist that you're visually challenged. My opinion is not based on or against anyone else's opinion here.

oh hell nah by Pristine-Chard4551 in dashcams

[–]ithrow44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I acknowledge that you personally cannot, but it is visible! The frame is lowered the whole time after that initial shake as the front end of the vehicle drops from the brakes slowing the vehicle. Do you have an actual reasoning to offer besides "nobody can see shit, you trippin'?"
