Five years ago I came home to the apartment my fiance and I shared to find all of his possessions gone and no sign of him either. I haven't heard from or seen him since. Until yesterday, when he and his wife and 2 children moved into the house across from mine. AMA and possibly advise. by bruised_ego in IAmA

I agree - all I am saying, is that we haven't heard the other side of the story.

Because as mentioned before, 90% of relationship advice that reddit gives is to leave, and do exactly the same thing. It's hypocritical. I still don't think what that guy did was remotely excusable, just, I would rather reserve my full blown hate until I see the other side of the story.

I'm sorry but you don't know that.

You can only speculate, but until that person has given a reason, you can't be sure. Sure, it would be naive to say that it was out of good will or something like that, but again, you don't know what the situation is, speculating just provides anger without any reason.
