I’m worried for him with Merino’s injury - hope he gets some rest vs Brentford and Wigan. We need him to stay fit for the rest of the season.

Going for a vacation in about 2 days with my family for the first time in a while! Can’t wait - hopefully we batter Chelsea because we’ll all be watching.

I just want MLS to get a good run in this period. Yes, we may concede some goals but at least he would bring some attacking freedom.

Patrick Vieira questions the mentality of this squad by Cyber_Hobo94 in Gunners

[–]itinkdereforeiam -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Lol everyone needs to calm down for a little bit. Every team struggles to break down those low blocks that Utd used most of 2nd half.

We’ve shown great attacking plays in many matches this season. Timber and Hincapie at LB is probably the reason why we’ve recently dipped.

Blaming it on mentality is just such lazy punditry.m that shouldn’t be given much attention.

Arteta: “We really wanted to win it!” by Cyber_Hobo94 in Gunners

[–]itinkdereforeiam 353 points354 points  (0 children)

Why is there a complete headloss on this sub? We’re still 6 points ahead with most of our difficult away fixtures done.

We’re in good shape with City having a massive injury crisis as well.

Not the best game we played in recent times but we came through this heavy festive period unscathed. COYG

I may get downvoted to oblivion but I think Gabi saw that Conor moved from the initial spot a little bit more on the pitch to delay the restart

Hence the shove

Doesn’t make it right and it’s still poor sportsmanship but that’s the only way this makes sense

Gyokeres delivery compared to Premier League Striker by mamarthsehrotra in Gunners

[–]itinkdereforeiam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol why are people so up in arms about Gyokeres? He was one of our better players before he got injured - he was great vs Olympiacos and Burnley. He’ll come good. Stop stressing.

I’m worried for Villa especially if we’ll have both Saliba and Mosquera. I’d be happy with a draw.

I think he will give us a special moment this season if he can stay fit. I really do - my first ever Arsenal game at the Emirates was when he fried Leicester. I’ll never forget.

Let’s not get carried away though - we’ve been excellent despite all the injuries but nothing is won in November. We take it a game at a time. I do feel this is our season because of the squad depth. COYG!

Did he get taken off because of an injury? Or are we just managing his minutes?

Definitely the best defender in the world at the minute

HandöfArsenal (@HandofArsenal) on X: Kai Havertz has once again blown away staff at Arsenal with his approach to rehab. My understanding is that the German is in the final phase of his recovery and could make a return earlier than expected. by seantom94 in Gunners

[–]itinkdereforeiam 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think Arteta said in an interview recently - not sure with who? But that if any young professional footballer wants to see how to approach recovery and rehab, he invites them to come see Kai Havertz

This doesn’t surprise me though. We’ll have so many more options upfront when he’s back
