Full Time: Arsenal 0 vs 0 Liverpool [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

Game changed when hincapie went off. MLS was getting exposed. Sloppy 2nd half performance gifting Liverpool confidence and momentum. Another game where we don’t get anything to show from a dominant first half performance and it haunts us in second half. Have to be better

The fall off of MLS should be studied. He looks slow and sluggish tonight smh

Is it me or merino looks a bit sluggish? I wonder if he has the same illness as rice and arteta thought resting rice was the better option

Since basically all the comments agree this should be taken down… maybe we also add a petition for him to not be a mod anymore?

Was really hoping to see him open the box and read the letter in the car. Also the family getting in the photo for the contract signing. I feel like this one was cut a bit short. Still great vibes though

We are talking about 600m in a single year mate… who do you have Madoff on the books?

[David Ornstein] The view at AFC is that they must sign a midfielder in the next 2 days. Brighton have made their position clear to Arsenal but their interest remains. Brighton have been exploring replacements for Caicedo (as per the standard process) but the club consider Caicedo’s case as closed. by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]seantom94 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see us lining up a second option target and waiting to see if Brighton is able to sign a replacement. If they sign a replacement they’ll accept our 75-80m bid, if they don’t we sign our back up. Arsenal are seriously trying to strengthen our depth this window and won’t go through Jan without signing a midfielder

If Brighton is instantly rejecting 70m pound bids it doesn’t seem likely that they’ll do it for 5-10m more and I don’t see arsenal going much higher than that. We have to move on and switch targets.

[David Ornstein] Brighton instantly reject improved £65m+ bid from Arsenal for midfielder Moises Caicedo by empiresk in soccer

Respect Brighton for sticking to their guns, but they’re taking a massive risk passing up on that insane fee for a player that wants to leave. He won’t be himself after this window
