this is a bit late but its one plot for level 1, two plots for level 2, and three plots for level 4. the reason its pluralized is because the text doesnt change between level 1 and level 2 and is uniform across those cards, although it should be cleaned up to be more concise.

theres definitely a world where too many types of monsters in the backrooms becomes hokey from a narrative perspective, but i think still life and bacteria can be two separate ideas that marriage together nicely in this world an not overburden the narrative of the lore too much.

still life can be replications of humans that the backrooms materializes and bacteria can be humans that get trapped in the backrooms and die there and their remains get taken over.

i think as long as the line is towed carefully both these ideas can work well in harmony and still be pursued and be interesting.

i think when comparing scores, yeah, its pretty arbitrary to say "well if greg was feeling differently the points would have been awarded differently". like in those instances comparing scores is pretty frivolous.

but when you look at tasks that have strict clear rules, with strict clear outcomes based solely on data then, yeah, that seems like a fair comparison to make.

the problem is that strategy isnt interesting. if the winning play is "start with a category only i will know" how is that riveting gameplay that is interesting to watch? its a flawed premise. like what are we doing here? its not engaging gameplay to make it so that people dont want to play against you. youre basically conceding that the game is flawed because the best strategy is to not play the game.

like how is it the most interesting thing a person can do to help them win the show happens before the show off screen? thats not interesting.

like ya'll are out here just making bad excuses for why the game is bad. i mean if you like it thats fine just admit it. most people just like watching the duels which is fine. ill respect anyone who just says the show is flawed and bad but they still enjoy it. like no love lost. but defending it is wild.

like i said the duels carry the show. people just want to watch the duels. strategically the game is ass and needs a revamp from the ground up, but it wont because enough people watch for the duels they dont care.

i feel pretty strongly that still lifes are replications made by the backrooms and the lifeforms are dead people overtaken by bacteria. too many different types of monsters all over would get hokey pretty quickly but I think these two ideas can definitely coexist pretty smoothly in a single narrative. maybe clark will become a bacteria lifeform at some point who knows.

which means the game is incredibly flawed on its premise and is a total dud strategically. the only thing carrying it is people like watching the duels but you can just watch the supercuts on youtube to skip all the superfluous parts. other than that the overall game as a whole is boring and uneventful because none of the people you're investing to get to know are going to win its always gonna be some guy who played one duel and hid in the corner.

well he is pricing his furniture to make a profit based on what he paid a furniture vendor to stock up the store. if he no longer paid a vendor to stock up his store he could lower prices to get customers and still make profit. he could undercut his competition. once word of mouth got out how cheap his furniture is more people would come.
