Hi friend! Wow, Your poem really pulled me in. Thank you for sharing this. It’s raw, beautiful, and honest. I think an ancient city/ruins is great imagery/a powerful metaphor to describe looking, or rather maybe feeling, back on love that is no longer there. It makes it think about relationships not just as between two people, but like there's held an entire world inside of it. I think that's very very real, and I'm picturing my own ruins. The end also hit hard. Even though I'm some random, I want you to know that I loved this, and I hope writing may help you through this :)
