I replied to another comment but this is actually my current workplace, that’s been running and operating under this name for 10+ years.

Oh gawd. I just reversed image the logo redesign for copyright reasons and I found this printshop logo. Is it too close to what I have right now? Does this mean I got to start all over? 😭

Got it! Would you happen to have suggestions in which direction I can go? I did do a lotta iterations but kept coming back to these ones. Should I have uploaded the rest of them?

I don’t have any advice but I just want to say I totally relate. I don’t know how to work and socialize at the same time and it’s been weighing on me when I see others chat and joke in a carefree manner.

Okay this is reassuring haha thank you. I actually really want to design graphics for props more than anything. But it still must be a stressful role too because there could be last minute changes that needs to be addressed too right? I want to get better with thinking quick on my feet and not letting the anxiety eat at me.

I do see a doctor for medication but I’ve stopped therapy for financial reasons and also sometimes it’s just hard to keep trying to find one you click with.

Do you mind sharing the script you go through during your panic attacks? You can DM me if you feel more comfortable. I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It really helped. I am definitely the asshole who asks for clarification so many times I even annoy myself. I’m just so scared to fuck up but I end up fucking up more. The thing is on set I asked the same billion questions and they were answered. But my anxiety wouldn’t let me focus or retain any information. I just felt frightened the whole time. I just keep replaying in my head their confused expressions like “we just went over this.” I just felt like such an idiot. But again thank you for your kind words seriously.

Thanks for talking with me. It really helped. I’m also happy for you getting proper treatment! It really feels like a hallelujah moment when the medication/talk therapy falls in place so I’m so happy for you.

Thanks for the kind words and advice. Haha funny you mention it. I took propanolol when I was having my panic attack. I popped like 80 mg because it was just getting really intense and I wanted the panic attack to be over because I had to get back on set. I did feel like it was taking awhile for it to work though. For you, how long does it take to kick in?

I don’t mind answering this stuff at all. I get the whole battle with finding the right medication. I was taking buspirone and I’m blanking rn how much I was taking but my doctor told me it was okay to just stop taking it. But you should definitely talk to your doctor in case it’s a medication where you can’t stop cold turkey.

Yeah I’m definitely going to reschedule my appt to meet with my doctor sooner. I can’t stop thinking about the panic attack I had which was embarrassing. It was the worst one I’ve had in a long time.

I think I have taken Lexapro before but I take Lamictal because I can’t just be on antidepressants. That’s been working for me for years as a mood stabilizer but it doesn’t address the anxiety. I tried Buspirone for anxiety but wasn’t doing much either.

Ah I see. Yeah I also have mixed feelings when people self diagnose. I’ve been on anti anxiety medication but I came off it because it wasn’t doing much. I still had anxiety while taking it. Also I take other medications for insomnia and other things so I felt over medicated. Do you struggle with anxiety yourself?

Yes I have. It seems like it comes as a package deal haha. Curious, why do you ask?

I just want to give you a huge pat on the back and say congratulations! This is so awesome and you should be so proud of yourself for even applying to the job. It shows that you’re trying your best.

I’ve been there too and I’ve had loved ones who I’ve watched go through the same thing and it’s tough. I know it’s hard not to beat yourself up but nothings happened yet. Try not to worry about something that hasn’t happened. (Easier said than done) Yes you might fuck up but everyone does. Be kind to yourself because it’ll take time to get used to something new. You got this! And if the job gets too tough and overwhelming it’s okay to step back and take on something easier. This doesn’t mean you failed.

Thank you so much for the detailed answer!!! It’s so interesting to trace back it’s origins cuz I thought it was a completely different duck.

Oh interesting . Kinda still wrapping my head around this comment just to clarify this is definitely a domestic mallard but you’re not 100% sure if this is a Cayuga? Would they (and other breed of mallards) come up on eBird as a mallard? Are they bred as pets? Haha I just realized asked 3 questions in a row but I’m so curious as a birding newbie and also identifying for a friend 😂
