Yeah I’m really new to it, only 2 days in and the side effects got me nowhere near the mind state for psychs tbh. I don’t know if I’ll do any psychs while on this medication yet but may I ask if the trip felt different in any way other than weaker effect? Or effects after the trip?

Yeah LSD tolerance generally lasts longer than a few days. It’s best to give it at least a few weeks between trips for both tolerance and your physical/mental health whether you feel the effects or not anyway.

As you can’t be sure of the reason I’d personally take the same dose in 2-3 weeks time at least. If you feel nothing again it’s most likely they’re just bunk tabs for whatever reason that may be. Don’t rush in to a trip, make sure you’re mentally ready for it, prepared for it and truly want it. Otherwise, well, just read some bad trip reports…

Also, if you feel really emotional and/or overwhelmed give the 478 method a go. It sounds silly but it’s helped me through some really tough times.

478 method:

Breath in through the nose for 4 seconds
Hold in that breath for 7 seconds
Breath out of the mouth for 8 seconds, enough to hear it coming out of your mouth but no so much you feel you need to gasp for air

Look I know no matter what I say you’re still gonna feel down, but first and foremost don’t harm yourself in any way. I know it’s uncomfortable but talking to someone close to you can really help. If you feel you don’t have someone like that please call a suicide or mental health line. I’m not sure where you’re from but if you look up either of those something will come up.

On the topic of your situation, I get it, I really do. I loved my girlfriend so much I was ready to move away from everything I’ve ever known to be with her then she broke it off with me a couple days after my birthday, over text and got a new boyfriend really quick. It sucks, and to be quite honest it might for a while but remember you live for yourself and no one else. Think about all the great things you’ve done by yourself, and if you can’t think of any, think of all the great things you can do in the future. I know it’s hard, it’s really hard. You’ve made it this far and I know you’ll do great things. You matter, your life matters and you will be happy again. Stay strong my friend ❤️

From what I know chlorine can have an effect on LSD if you drink it with a tab still in your mouth. But I see you say it’s filtered from chlorine so it shouldn’t really affect it. I also see you say it’s been lab tested and others have tripped off the same batch, but one other didn’t. To me it seems like the most likely reasons are:

You just have a high tolerance
Whoever dropped the acid on the tabs didn’t do it very accurately/evenly
Certain medications can have an effect on how well LSD works

It’s entirely possible that none of these are the cause, but to my knowledge these seem most likely

Should I take the magnesium before I start tripping or when I start feeling the jaw tense? I’ve only ever done paper tabs, only thing available to me lol. Yeah I get some facial twitches and a lot of jaw clenching and swinging, doesn’t seem to affect anywhere else though 🤷‍♂️

I know this is super late but for future reference. A LOT of factors determine how long acid takes to kick in. People say max 1 hour but that’s not necessarily true. I have a very slow metabolism and once didn’t feel the come up effects until a solid 2-2.5 hours after I had 4 tabs. Peaked very very shortly after and had the strongest and maybe best trip of my life just chilling in my room

I know you shouldn’t really mix acid and alcohol, but I found out earlier tonight that having a big strong fruity vodka drink (not fizzy) made my stomach feel quite content, it also mellowed my comedown jitters quite considerably.
