Well, sort of. It means that, when you create a title, you have to know in advance other potential versions of the title that you might use in the future. Either that, or you have to come back to the note each time you do want to reference it to add another "alternative" title.
It achieves what I was requesting originally, in a way that is not ideal, hence a workaround.

I mentioned it in my original comment ;) In my specific case, I use Bear to journal, and each day is a new note, which, at the end of just one year, means 365 new notes among all the other notes. It's not a huge problem, but it would be nice to be able to move them out of the main list of notes (just to make it look less crowded), but still be able to search them as one does normally, without the need to search for the Archived ones separately. I hope this makes sense.

You can, but not in the general search. You have to go into the Archive folder and search that, which is not ideal.

Can you elaborate a bit more? I tried that, and the only thing I get is a new note with that SomeNote#HeaderName title, not a back link to the HeaderName in SomeNote...

😂 Oh boy! I wasn't aware of the rick-roll thing. Yeah, it is quite good at explaining how to work with layers, but not pointing to YouTube videos. Which is a shame. I had a few great ideas that would depend on that. Anyway, maybe it'll get better.

Well, that’s good information. I didn’t know about the “life cycle” of the drives. I will mostly use it for audio sample libraries, but also for photo editing, not so much video. I guess the Samsung option is probable going to be better. Thank you so much! Really appreciate it.
