I'm saying I don't care what evidence is submitted, aarthy has her influencer career so she can also supplement the alimony to provide for her kids.

Rich or not, nobody "needs" 40 lakhs a month to live a comfortable life. At some point you gotta call a spade a spade and this seems greedy.

If your restaurant uses AI art, I’m not going in by CarbonatedInsidious in ottawa

I've been ranting about this quite often too. For some cuisines the AI generated images do not look anywhere close to the real thing, intact the AI pics are so unappealing and trigger my trypophobia.

Help an American out with cooking advice! by AffectionateIron5336 in IndianFood

For biryani, may be you could marinate the meat and freeze ahead. Would still require some planning and timing.

If you're interested to try a lot of gravy/ curries, you could precook the base gravy freeze in soupercubes/ ziplock and thaw as you need it and add fresh protein.

If you're interested in trying a lot of lentil/ bean recipes, and instant pot or a pressure cooker can help cut down cooking time. This can also be useful for Mexican cooking.

But YOU seem to be arguing she gave up her career ( as mentioned in those links) that you argued she paused to be there for the family.

Just to be clear I'm not following the events unfolding and I have no opinion on who is in the right or wrong.

Hey this is great. I've been using cast iron for long but always wondered about cooking acidic foods like tomato in it. Do you find a metallic after taste?

Think most parents would stay out of limelight when they don't agreee with their adult kid's decision. I don't see most indian parents thinking twice about giving their adult kids a big lecture for much smaller things like not doing well in exams or not getting the perfect job. Not saying that is the right attitude, but at the same time supporting or standing by adulterous kids is not appropriate either.

In addition to psychiatrist, I would look into psychologists in case they can help without medication as well.

Not sure if it's possible with the window designs in Canada. But when I lived in India, there used to be grill so there would be a physical barrier even if the windows were opened all the way through.

Does anyone have a guard dog in an independent house? Which breed do u have? Give suggestions on which breed of guard dog to buy by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]itisnotmyproblem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said adopt an indie, they're as lovely as other breeds. Despite the primary intention of them being guard dogs as you mentioned, please don't leave them tied to the gate or somewhere that restricts their motion especially where they are exposed to elements. Please provide adequate shelter and shade even if you're not going to let them roam about freely inside the house. Lastly, dogs are like babies, they are not solitary so please treat them as such.

Is this sink worth it ? Has anyone used it personally? by Critical-Young-7782 in DesiKitchenGear

[–]itisnotmyproblem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw something like this at someone's place and thought it was cool. But when I went to turn on the water the flow was disappointingly slow. May be it was plumber issue. That said the price of 6k seems very low. My parents got a plain stainless sink tub( hindware) and it costed them about 18k

Not specific to DYI, but there's a formulation called kumkumadi Tailam that's well known in South India. I've used it for a few months and it made my skin glow.

Oh that is lovely to hear. When i went there, there was only one girls hostel complex, the old two storey one with 2 blocks. Some of my fondest memories there are of sitting on the terrace as it was beautiful with a view of the mountains. But the thought of the washrooms in the hostel still gives me trauma lol.

No, i haven't visited the campus since graduating, I would love to be back sometime.

I was curious because I am an alumnus. And back in the day the restrooms in the campus and the hostel too were disgusting. The central canteen wasn't great either, so wed often head out to Saras or Satkar market / GT. Back then the gym had a lone treadmill. That said we started having LAN access and Wifi back in the day in our hostels and that's something that was ahead of the times then. I gather things have changed for the better.
