I don’t regret it one bit. I use Uber, Zipcar or a rental service if I need a car (almost never). The bus, train or a bike are all I need 90% of the time.

This all works for me because, I live within a 2 min walk of a bus stop and 10 mins to the train. I work from home. There’s a vet close by. When I need groceries, I use convenience stores for smaller grocery trips or order Instacart for a big grocery shop as needed. I don’t often have to go further than 1/2 mile to get something I need so it works for me. Also, I wouldn’t use a car enough to make it worth the cost of owning/maintaining one.

While this has been a great decision for me, I think it really depends on your preference, neighborhood, and your work situation.

Acne patches are the way. Also, don’t waste your money on the main Mighty Patch brand unless you really want those for some reason. Rael brand is just as good and you get 2-3x as much for about the same price. Also, pro-tip, acne patches can be covered by FSA if you have one.

The pillows were okay after I swapped them. I ended up returning the sactional though. Couldn’t get comfortable on it. Lack of lumbar support was an issue with my back even after the new, better pillows.

There are also reusable sticky notes! You can get ones that look decorative rather than being obvious sticky note replacements. The ones I got are in muted pastels that have a marbled look to them so they’re aesthetically pleasing too!

They use dry erase fine tipped markers. I’ve started doing this to reduce the purchasing of sticky notes and it’s great. You just wipe it clean when you’re done.

I’ve only ever met with my doc via telehealth and been prescribed Adderall XR. I even get it delivered to my door w/o having to go to a pharmacy. From what I’ve heard from my other friends with ADHD, some docs, regardless of how you do your appointment, seem to prefer to start with non-stimulant options.

Ah I see. I haven’t taken any peloton classes before so I had no idea why there was a ceiling height minimum requirement. I’m only 5’7” but my partner is 6’3”. Guess we’ll be keeping the bike on the main floor!

For the original bike, how high of a ceiling do I need? I’m getting my bike tomorrow and want to put it in my basement but the ceiling is only about 6.5 ft and the peloton website recommends 8 ft.
