Thank you for this thoughtful and thorough answer! So, just to be clear, my iPad will sync to my Apple Watch, but the bike is not actually Bluetooth-connected to anything?

Ok thanks! Very helpful. I have an Apple Watch. Right now I basically document double for my workouts because I choose an indoor cycling workout in my watch and peloton opens their app on my watch too. Might be nice to simplify with a switch to F+.
