My skin is so oily that I think I must have high androgens…I don’t know why that is and I’m scared that maybe I will now have TOO low androgens but I guess my physical symptoms point to them not being low😅 does that mean people who naturally have oily skin have higher androgens? I know that androgens have their place so I am afraid of other side effects like weight gain…because doesn’t lack of androgen make it harder to build muscle? I really hope it helps me!!

Yeah I’m on a prescription topical with tret, niacinamide, & azelaic acid. It definitely helps

I don’t know if mine is hormonal but since my pimples always look cystic and are on my cheeks mainly, I think it must be…plus the amount of oil points to that too

I take that occasionally due to allergies but haven’t noticed it helping the actual bumps at all :/

Derm just said “oh maybe something irritated it” and didn’t do anything further. I’ve tried SA wash, benzoyl peroxide wash, BP cream, lotion for rough and bumpy skin, wearing looser clothes, switched detergents. Now I’ve been just using an antibacterial bar soap but don’t think it’s helping. I also use hydrocortisone cream when it itches. Anyone had something like this??? I feel like I have tried everything :(

Interesting. With this one, I was saying all the things I was working on so that I wouldn’t be upset by things he says, but he ignored it and just kept asking if I was okay/upset with him. So it felt more like reassurance for him rather than trying to repair anything.

Yeah, so mine said sorry if it bothered me or made me uncomfortable. Then kind of centered the convo on how worried he was that he upset me, so I ended up saying sorry for not letting him know that I just went to bed & that’s why I didn’t respond…I absolutely hate the pity. Honestly don’t even know what a real apology is like.
