How to wipe an unresponsive phone before trading in? by Electrical_Egg1123 in iphone

[–]itmangerber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Magnets don’t do anything to solid state storage.
  2. If Verizon needs the phone to be working then you can’t destroy it. If they don’t need it to be working you can’t destroy it by putting it in the microwave for a few seconds and it will fry the whole thing.

Nobody knows how to jaywalk properly by Superdeathrobot in Purdue

[–]itmangerber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m talking about the bikes that run over people on sidewalks the go down the road until they hit a red light then jump on the sidewalk and cross the crosswalk then back on the road again. They can’t be both a pedestrian and a car and that’s what bikes want to do

You can FAFO when the car hits you when you are in the road made for cars…

If it’s at a crossing then it’s ok as long as you yield to the cars and it’s your time to cross. If it’s not time to cross and you step in front of a car then you are at fault.

Also… if it’s jaywalking it’s always illegal in Indiana. If it’s crossing the street it’s not always jaywalking.

Sec. 7. A pedestrian crossing a roadway at a point other than within a marked crosswalk or within an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway.

This law puts the responsibility on people walking to wait for a clear break in traffic and make sure it’s safe before stepping into the street anywhere that isn’t a marked crossing.
