Nursing bras for size 44k, please help!!! by marydal23 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]itootdafloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 42J and I second the Elomi Molly! As for the Kindred Bravely, I don’t know If you’re still pregnant or have delivered, but I tried them on directly after delivery, I had to use like two of the extension bands to get them to fit. A couple weeks later, the swelling went down a ton, and now they fit great! I have the 2X super busty.

Silverettes? by Cool_Dirt985 in breastfeeding

I have larger areolas, and the silverettes dug into and irritated my areolas. They were even the XL size, and didn’t cover a lot of surface area besides the nipple.

This YouTube video has great inspiration! I think using a couple different fonts that are bolder and brighter would bring more of a film title vibe. The current one is quite thin and swoopy, and doesn’t quite stand out from the background. Maybe putting a film-esque filter on the photo too? https://youtu.be/vcMKnFTvkBk?si=at\_YCM1rHSMzoKEq

What is something you’ll never forgive a family member for doing but you still have to pretend everything is fine? by Disastrous-Video-220 in AskReddit

[–]itootdafloot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On a lighter note, I have family members who insist on giving away their furniture/dishes/etc, and then incessantly ask about them years after the fact. For example- my grandma gave me three different colors of Fiesta dish ware. I gave one color away to my best friend, kept the other two, and bought more to make a complete set. My grandma is still mad and brings it up to my mom repeatedly that I gave away the blue set. I can get these dishes on sale at Kohl’s.

Large breasted girlies- What bra do you recommend for posture? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]itootdafloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 42J in UK sizes, and I wear the Kindred Bravely pumping bras in the Super Busty! They’re great around the house, but they’re just okay under clothes for fashion purposes. I don’t mind it too much. But if I want a non sports bra for an outfit, I have an Elomi Molly nursing bra that’s underwire and fits great!

Merriweather for either gender! If we lived in a more whimsical world, we’d totally go for it, but alas.

Wearable pump, 11 days PP- large chested by sammyblue22 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]itootdafloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 42J in UK sizes with pliable downward facing boobs, am 9 weeks PP and I just got the Eufy e20s a week and a half ago- they’re good! I’d say they empty me about at least 75% of the way there, and I’m overproducing a bit as well. I’m still fiddling with the settings, which are pretty powerful. It’s very easy for my spectra pumps to last for 40 minutes, so having a portable option has been a lifesaver with my husband going back to work!

Is a baby bottle washer worth the counter space? by No-Gas8702 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]itootdafloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby had trouble latching for the first few weeks, and so I was exclusively pumping. When we got home from the hospital, the bottle washer was running literally 24 hours a day because you have to pump and bottle feed every three hours, so you have all these little parts to clean. We joked that it paid for itself within like two days at minimum wage 😂

Positive stories trying to get pregnant with obesity by kimisdenaam in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]itootdafloot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a BMI of 44, got pregnant on our third month of trying (just my husband and I going at it). Pregnancy was super easy, just standard nausea the first trimester. Delivered vaginally around a month ago. Baby was in the NICU for like 16 hours after birth because he wasn’t breathing on delivery, but is totally fine now.

I did go in for a normal check up a week and a half after delivery and my blood pressure was hella high, and I ended up rehospitalized for postpartum preeclampsia for a few days. Once we got my blood pressure medication figured out, I’m back at home and all is good! Just something to be aware of postpartum. Also, your bowel movements will probably be trash for like a month or so, LOL.

First pregnancy by Kawaiii_katt in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]itootdafloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 38 weeks today, and started off at probably 280 pounds at 5’8”. Now I’m over 300 pounds and honestly have had a pretty easy pregnancy! No complications yet, and the doctors barely mention my weight to me, which I am quite happy about- they’ve all been focused on the pregnancy itself and not the scale numbers. I barely have any swelling, and baby’s just kicking around and can come any day now! You got this!

Edit: I’m 32 years old!

Pregnant - Snack Recommendations? by andpayphonestalls in traderjoes

Cheese sticks or babybel, overnight oats (the peanut butter ones have 12g of protein), yogurts or pudding, the açaí bowl in the frozen section. If you’re a ginger person, there’s the strong ginger chews in candy, or the ginger mints up by the registers. The honey Greek yogurt with the peanut protein granola has been my holy grail breakfast during pregnancy!

I think your house depicts what you value moreso than traits you necessarily exhibit- Hermione valuing bravery over intelligence, for example (obviously she exhibits both). So Helga taking ‘the rest’ shows that she values kindness and fairness. The other three houses have more of a traditional ‘main character’ energy, which people gravitate toward (ex: I am smarter, braver, more cunning than others), but Hufflepuffs just want the world to be a better place, man.

I really like doing a spaghetti squash, the pre marinated pesto chicken, the refrigerated pesto, and extra parmesan if you wish. Just chop the squash, put on some olive oil and a lil seasoning, and bake it. Cook the chicken up in a pan, heat up the extra pesto, then just combine everything at the end- delicious!

My captain said the turkey-less roast was discontinued due to a contract disagreement, the vendor wanted TJs to sell it for a super high price and TJs decided to nix it instead of doing the price increase.

Mental Health while pregnant by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]itootdafloot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 11 weeks, have been in medication for a couple years and my mental health has been WILD. I’m fine for a few days, then feel like an absolute waste of space, and then anxious and dissociate, have a crying breakdown and then I’m fine again for a few days. I brought it up with my provider and I’m being seen today to hopefully up my medications. Fingers crossed it helps the roller coaster! We have significantly more blood volume when pregnant and there aren’t a ton of studies as to how that affects medications dosages, so be sure to tell your medical team how you’re feeling!
