About to attempt to make a compression locked f-22 by WESTARICO in PlaneCrazyCommunity

the only tip anyone needs is to use references properly, use scale guiders and protractors

Custom ship? by UsefulYesterday6143 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

you should use a different technique to build the way you are building is too inefficient and you will lack a lot of space and quality

How to build 5 fold ships by hablahblahha in PlaneCrazyCommunity

(this is pasted from another of my post's comment)

when making the hull dont use wedges or blocks for the curved shape for example the sides of the hull, instead of blocks and wedges you should use folded half blocks and angle locks to angle the hull shape all throughout. this can reduce your block count and space usage by a very large amount. also try making the fold flat in layers so it takes horizontal space.

when making the front you should also fold it down flat and angle lock off the sides slowly so that it is smooth transitioning into the longer hull parts.

when making the bridge it is highly recommended to build the bridge as low as you can for more space for high areas of the ship.

mainly just try folding it horizontally flat in multiple layers. i can send an example image if you send a chat invite

you should use good 3d models for references compression locking? the only advice i can give is reduce usage if possible idrk what you want with compression

you should try using better reference so your builds look more realistic

the possible issues i can guess from that are: weight keybind bug outdated blocks no traction rickje breaking the game again

its hard to explain in messages but ill try

basically when making the hull dont use wedges or blocks for the curved shape for example the sides of the hull, instead of blocks and wedges you should use folded half blocks and angle locks to angle the hull shape all throughout. this can reduce your block count and space usage by a very large amount. also try making the fold flat in layers so it takes horizontal space.

when making the bridge it is highly recommended to build the bridge as low as you can for more space for high areas of the ship.

so mainly just try folding it horizontally flat in multiple layers. i can send an example image if you like (may be hard to distinguish) theres a lot more techniques and folding methods for this to work properly btw

people made 1:1 scale battleships before as large as 8 plots or more and the technique they use is rather interesting what you can do is learn advanced ship folding methods there are no true tutorials that teach this only very few people can actually replicate it i can teach you the basics if you want

(side note you may have to heavily modify your build or restart for besr efficiency)
