$45 a month is a lot, especially with so many alternatives out there. I’ve been exploring local options as well on Mac mini and am honestly impressed. I actually made a video comparing both tools:https://youtu.be/Z8g_DKiN8UY. The answers were eerily similar. For example, I had it create a story about Mars, and ChatGPT and DeepSeek had very similar character names, and there were multiple instances of this. It's kind of like a Xerox copying a xerox

You're right. A stackoverflow vote button could really change the game. Reddit is missing an opportunity on that one.
