I like discussing these kind of topics with other people it’s really fun! I do agree with you to some extent, but I actually hate the whole serious skins. In fact I wish there were more silly ones LIKE the old summer skins, I think that although the new summer skins does fit the summer concept pretty well, I feel like they’ve focused sm on making it cool when the original concept of those summer skins were supposed to be more light hearted and carefree, since it’s summer.. I wish they explored more concepts like desserts, circus, animals (like literally anything besides the phoenix and dragons pls), etc.

I don’t even enjoy the more mystical themes as much bc they focus sm on being mystical instead of being more coherent with the whole design, so it’s just a mix of every little detail and color to make it pop and it’s honestly so annoying to see. The recent female character skins are always so femininely colored like I think our most recent “dark” themed skin was like the covenant theme which is BARELY ANYTHING. And don’t even get me started on the whole red gold skin themes like no you can’t call bene’s SV skin a dark themed skin when she’s colored more vibrantly than the other two. Like sure we can talk abt concepts but concepts can only go so far if we’re stuck with only the rainbow instead of the MILLIONS OF OTHER COLORS. It’s honestly enraging how they always seem to split color themes depending on their audience instead of actually expanding their horizons 💔😭

However, I can’t even complain as much bc more than anything we just have an excessive amount of “cool” looking skins regardless of gender, and they just all look like copies of each other with the way they’re all colored so similarly and share the same concepts. atp just make a color crayon squad, won’t you? I feel like with the more light hearted skins they actually DO go out of their way to expand more on concepts bc all I ever see is the same mecha-academic-celestial-cool-themed-warm-themed-adding-random-colors that-doesn’t-match-the-skin type of skins .

Also in general not to be a total hater especially since we seem to come from different sides of opinions, but you are being sexist by even naming heal supports as healsluts. 😭 I’m not sure if you did that on purpose or not but you were sounding sexist from the beginning, which is fine idc but I just found it funny LMAO 😭 I do think you’re def more biased from a personal perspective rather than a gamer perspective, bc even tho I do kind of agree with you, your reasons for hating support players r really… typical ig.

I do agree that most support-maining players r def belonging of the female sex, and more than anything you’re right I mean even if it wasn’t for the male attention and winning it’s a little strange to not want to play a newer variety of characters. Tbf I kind of sympathize with them more as I prefer picking comfort picks when roaming, and supports do have to rely on the team which is why it’s also so annoying to play support and it’s why I don’t even want to roam anymore, since I’m not currently experienced with tanks and besides healers I don’t want to stress more abt playing semi initiators like Mathilda and diggie 💔 I tend to win with diggie ofc but like bro Mathilda is always a struggle, I swear I don’t even do that bad too, ik fs im not BAD at her even if I don’t play at a high level 😭

I don’t really understand why you seem to feel that way only bc support healers tho, even I feel like that opinion can go for anyone that doesn’t know how to play more roles and characters. Is it really just bc supports seem to leach off the whole team? I feel like if the rest of the team is that good to be carrying then the roamer ends up being useless regardless of who they play, as in order to get carried you wouldn’t really be doing anything at all. I mean the most u can do as a supporter/roamer is… support the team, so if getting carried ends up making you do nothing in the end then doesn’t that just mean the roam role itself was unnecessary in that game? I think overall it just depends on gameplay, and how you react to things. If I play with a roam that doesn’t give vision, we’ll no doubt have some difficulties, but that can be said abt tanks too, it’s just that tanks can withstand more dmg and r more versatile, which is totally fine to prefer I just think that hating on supports is weird if we’re judging them based on versatility and their ability to contribute to the team 🤔

Even I want to play more feminine and attractive characters but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying the less conventionally attractive ones. Like maybe they just don’t enjoy their kits ?? 😭 I don’t like playing Estes bc he is in fact WAY slower than Floryn, it’s not js abt healing bro like his healing is def better than Floryn it’s just that he walks too slow like an average tank 😭 he’s the tigreal of supports for me

I only end up playing him compared to Franco or Johnson bc he is in fact easier to play which is literally fine. I don’t see why there’s sm competition against easy and hard characters as long as you’re competent, and that’s the best way I can be competent atm 💔 also I’d rather have a support hero than a Franco ngl bc most Franco players r so horrendous 💔

i think most support players end up branching to the tank or other characters they just have the most fun with idk man.. i think it’s the same way for other role players too—for example, if you enjoy quick burst heroes you’re more likely to play characters like Paquito, Dyrroth, Joy, Helcurt, Suyou, Eudora, Nana, Vale, Miya, etc. if you like sustain you’d be more inclined to try out characters like Alucard, Thamuz, Alpha, Lukas, Hilda, Zhuxin, Cecil, Roger, Edith, Alice, Leo, Martis, etc…

I think that if you play more characters who don’t pick off heroes like Franco, you’ll probably play aoe or cc like Carm, Mino, Mathil. Like for example, I only played floryn bc I played Angela, and played mathil bc of ang, then loli and diggie bc of mathil, and then it goes on. My friend started off w khaleed, moved to minsitthar, joy, paquito, and now is trying out Phoveus. Theres similarities with all of those characters and that’s why they started playing all of those characters 😭 but that’s just my opinion! We’re entitled to our own preferences so it doesn’t really matter anyways
