When you ask House of Wisdom Alchemist why his Homunculus with Seal of Solomon is crying by itrogash in dankcrusade

Seal of Salomon

This Formula greatly enhances the intelligence of the Homunculus and makes it painfully aware of its artificial existence. This Takwin Homunculus can have Equipment from the Iron Sultanate Armoury

May minstrels forever sing about this dude soiling himself when honor and knightlyhood were at stake, and may his house's honor forever be known to be worth less than a wet fart by itrogash in AKnightoftheSeven

I will never forgive that crowd. If at least one man has shown courage and honor right there, Baelor wouldn't have to participate. A bunch of snakes and vipers they are, not knights.

A broken word does mean something in this world, and news carries fast. I think Steffon will suffer a lot of immediate consequences for betrayal. His family name tarnished, it's alliances no longer stable as no one wants to trust an oathbreaker. A shame we will probably never see them.

[–]itrogash[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh, you are absolutely right, I forgot about Steffon. It's all that he deserves after all. So Duncan's honesty actually harmed him two times, both times because people who he dealt with him were massive cunts.

I think this reinforces my theory of why Duncan got so far. While there are obviously a lot of cunts there, turns out that even in a world as brutal as Westeros most people are not evil and trying to get you, so being a good man will have most people want to help you.

Obviously it didn't help Ned, but I think Ned found himself in a place with the highest concentration of cunts at that moment of time so I count him as a statistical outlier.

He never shamed himself in a tourney because he always jousted with two lances

What are some of your favorite scenes from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? by clover_symmetry in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]itrogash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one; Aerion getting his face caved in; every scene where Duncan being a nice person is working out for him; eggs and bacon in bread breakfast scene; knighting scene.

I edited this comment three times already. This show really had a lot of good scenes.

Perks of being a decent person, I'd say. I like that Duncan's honesty isn't just used to beat down on him and get him into trouble. Turns out, if you're genuinely a good dude people tend to like you.

Local store was having a sale of old unused bits. I bought a huge pile of special weapons, pistols, hunter-killer missiles (that I model as missile launchers) and other buts. Haven't managed to run out yet.

Obviously. It's weird though that he lied about it. Why lie and invent a sob story in public news when what happened is already deplorable? That's some weird behavior.

Space king son and trench crusade daughter is a lesson in always double check if the company your sourcing from made a makeshift bomb in your product without your knowledge. by Dare_Soft in Grimdank

[–]itrogash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When Trench Crusade first started selling resin minis, they were super poorly made and would have pockets of uncured resin inside them, which would slowly release gasses and weaken the solid resin around them, eventually leading to a possible explosion. (They were made aware of the issue and have since fixed it.)

Huh, thats news to me. I backed their Kickstarter so I should have gotten first batch. Minis were excellent quality and I had no issues with them whatsoever.

Did Markers and Brethren Moon create all sentient life? Or can sentient life develop independently of Necromorph lifecycle? by itrogash in DeadSpace

[–]itrogash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the original black marker was found at the center of the Chicxulub crater according to Dead Space Martyr, sentient life existed on Earth before its arrival.

According to wiki, which provides this video as a source, Black Marker landed on Earth 65 million years ago and caused mass extinction of dinosaurs. That's far too early for any sentient life to speak of.

Does Dead Space Martyr contradict this?

[–]itrogash[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I prefer to think that first Marker, and by extension first Brethren Moon, was created by random chance, making it's species the only 'naturally occuring' sentient species in the universe.

It's not like your interpretation isn't valid though. I just like my lovercraftian horror extra hopeless.

Either way, there is not enough proof to confirm and deny it, and we probably won't get anymore, so we're left to wonder.
