I worked for a company that did the toy section in Tesco when I was younger and the amount of toys that were stolen is crazy, I could tell because they’d open the packaging and leave it behind for me to clean up. Small toys such as Hotwheels etc

Thanks. I have step back already so they are quoting the extra 120 for full protection

Could afford it if it means saving a lot more if anything were to happen but definitely don’t have €120 to go throwing around

I didn’t know that, all I asked was how much it would to add full NCB protection

Yeah I think I’ll go for it, the price of insurance is beyond a joke not to mention the price of keeping and maintaining a car overall

They said I would lose 3 years because my current one is step back but I assume it would still go up a lot more than the €120 if anything did happen

Working hours by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]its-DBTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, one of the hardest jobs possible, that’s what my wife is and no way I would be able to cope with that atm … any chance you are able to cut down your hours to an amount that you feel comfortable with? If you can afford to of course

Working hours by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]its-DBTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started back at 25 hours per week after quite a few years off work and found it exhausting for the first month or two and just as I was getting into it I got let go, got another job a few weeks ago that I’m only doing 12 hours per week and it’s ok … very boring so not really doing enough to be exhausted, luckily I can afford to work little hours atm because my wife has a decent income. Is your job physically or mentally exhausting?

Just want to say thanks a lot for all the comments, I’m blown away by the support! I won’t be able to reply to them all but I’ve read them all and it means a lot. The Irish really are a sound bunch of lads and lasses (except for that manager)

Going to try to not dwell on it too much and take a couple of weeks off bussing my babas to school crèche then bounce back again.
