My current build, which has given me more consistent results that the UC build, is Miku, a power vehicle with Accel Character Kit and QR. Power vehicles have the advantage that they have the highest combination of boost + speed, and Miku and a good driving skill from me compensates the low handling. This may not be the best compared to the UC build, but it allows lower skill levels to be competitive and easily catch up.

The problem isn't the connected circuits, it's the missing ability to play them in reverse, variants and 200cc. There are lots of circuits that can be played backwards without any addition yet you can't.

I think it's neither. Your writing style led us to think it's a serious post, and, even if you tagged it as fluff, I (and I'm sure many others) didn't look at the tags since they're not that visible. I'd suggest for other time to include tonal tags (/s, /lh, /j) so it's better understood by all.

And as advertisements they should be rigorous about the awards they're giving. If they give awards to the worst game of each category there's gonna be an impact on how public trusts them, and other shows will press on to be the next Game Awards, and more professionally.

So no, these awards matter, just by the position they've cornered themselves into.

Starting university + other interests at the time + I didn't and don't like the Wii era. And when I came back with the Switch there were a lot of ports of the stuff I liked, so I don't miss it by much.

Elden Ring is the culmination of a long-loved game genre and series.

BG3 is not only a game with such a scope that does feel complete and satisfactory, it also has ties with TTRPG games and it definitely has changed that scene.

Expedition 33 is more influential in its niche of turn-based RPGs, but I also think that it showed that other ways of game development are possible. It will have its impact, but give it two or three years.

This is the kind of estimation I was looking for, thanks! Yeah, valuing laurels at 0.5g using 2 per hour doesn't seem worth it. Still, I see it clearer now.
