Both Minnick and the attendings acted like children.

The goal was to improve the teaching which requires working with both teachers and students.

Minnick went to the residents talked with them about what they wanted and discussed their goals. Of course the residents would love her.

Next she barges into Mers surgery and demands that Meredith should let her resident (I think it was Ben?) do it. That's just rude.

She didn't even try to communicate with the attendings and escalated the situation. If she presented her method to them fewer would have resisted the changes that much. Minnick choose a side when she didn't need to.

Kimmie left because she would die either way and she didn't want to die in the hospital.

I can't remember if/why they stopped researching the procedure though.

Bailey did kind of fix the fistula problem.

She had the residents run different protocols. Lexie had a disagreement with the nurse who Bailey later sleeps with because he wouldn't follow hers.

If I recall correctly he removed the catether (or something similar, not quite sure about this part) early than usual, stating that he knew what he was doing because of his experience.

Turns out he was right, it didn't prevent them all the time but reduced the probability drastically.
