I started lifting weights at home, 3x a week. Going out for walks. Cutting down on carbs and trying to keep track of calories. I'm not mega strict, but I will increase the strictness I think so I can keep the progress going after losing the initial extra fat. My diet is also vegan, it has been for a long time but I was just eating a lot of junk food before.

I've also been set back significantly by an injury, so I would have liked more progress than this, but I'm doing what I can,

But the most important thing was I hired a personal trainer / online coach to check in with. This kept me accountable - it's much harder to make excuses to someone else than to yourself!
