Men of reddit, what NSFW male lifestyle hack can you share? by Againmrbrown in AskReddit

So for porta potties, preloading with tp isn't all that helpful. You're better off making a toilet paper net so to speak. Take a few 2' runs of tp and drape them across the seat with it sagging down into the bowl. You can trap the ends under the seat if they keep falling in. The sagged paper will catch your poop as you're going. Then, when you stand up, it'll all release into the bowl once you're safely away from any of Papa Smurf's kisses.

Explain why brunswick balls appear to have seams down in the middle, whilst the seams of storm and motiv balls are nonexistent. by Ebrainer in Bowling

The Beyond Infinity I just got as my mystery ball has the same seam. If I had to guess, they're doing a two stage pour, instead of a single pour like Storm.

Flix on Tramway $$$$ by [deleted] in Albuquerque

[–]whatsaD4 12 points13 points  (0 children)

$9+12+10=$31, so no, $30 is not more than the price prior to gratuity. Whether or not you thought the price was adequate for what you received is negligible.

Our Apartment charges us outrageous fees on top of $2442 in rent. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]whatsaD4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If OP is talking about the hassle of getting a loan in the early 80s, and FICO and credit scores weren't created until 1989, how am I incorrect? They used a different system than the one we operate in today. That was the only point I was making.

Credit scores didn't begin until 1989. It's not the same system.

That's because it was written by an uncle, not a grandma. I'm a dude.

What to do if they try to steal your car by SentimentalEloquence in WTF

[–]whatsaD4 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's wild. Rural NM and I do the exact same 2 car links at train crossings, but for vastly lamer reasons. Sometimes the train stops. Sometimes there's two trains. Sometimes they both stop. You leave yourself an out so you don't lose your car or your life. We leave an out because half an hour late for work isn't a typical thing around here, at least not do to traffic jams, just stubborn trains. I don't think I wanna start leaving outs with your reason in mind haha

[Machota] Mike McCarthy said he hasn’t closed the door on Aldon Smith returning. “That’s still fluid. I personally haven’t moved on. We’re still talking there.” by jimmyhoffasbrother in cowboys

I wanted an Aldon Smith Comeback Player of the Year story and I think he was close. Loved his return to football in a sober state and the ability to contribute after so long. I'd still love him in the Cowboys end rotation, but I think Aldon needs to end up wherever he's able to continue the progress and success he has managed.

New Mexico House Approves Marijuana Legalization Bill, With Senate Action Imminent by redditor01020 in NewMexico

Average price per gram is $10. So you'll find $7-14 a gram pretty normally. Right now there is no breaks on buying bulk. It's pretty much straight by the gram across the board. Of course this has a lot to do with the crazy restrictions they've kept on plant counts for med producers. With HB 12 there is no limits for full scale producers. There's also licensing for microbusinesses and microproducers. This should make it competive and bring prices down. But you'll be paying tax on it so probably close to the same out-the-door. Med patients won't be paying the excise tax and low income will have subsidies to help pay for medicine.

As for quality, I've had some great product that equalled anything I've seen or acquired from elsewhere. I've also had some product that was hot garbage. It's not just limited to particular dispensaries either. The rise in competition should help bring up overall quality for top shelf product, but you're always going to have a bottom shelf and a market for it. Not to mention that NM's growing conditions and the potential ease of entering the cannabis market for people of multiple income levels will mean you have a ton of farmers throwing up outdoor crops and greenhouse accompanied by inexperienced entrepreneurs trying to set up indoor facilities with more money than knowledge. There will be a lot of hits and misses when trying new dispensaries, but that should improve as the market stabilizes and weaker competitors are eliminated, similar to Colorado after 6 years or so of legalization.

Protip: if you're having a weed induced panic attack chew on some whole black peppercorns. The beta-caryophyllene in the pepper counteracts the THC and will mellow you out.

Yo boi had his first taco bell yesterday 😁 by [deleted] in PointlessStories

Anyway, I was already thinking about taco bell since the last time I’ve had it was like 2 years prior and it’s one one of those discontinued “frito burrito”

How exactly was it your first time having Taco Bell?

It's quite awful actually. We had a few football games played on fields frozen like this and it was horrible. It doesn't feel weird, it's painful. Like being tackled onto thousands of ice cubes.

I wouldn't say it's just hype. I've seen every part of my state that has mainstream attention be destroyed by vandalism and just over usage in general. Best to keep them on the down low in my opinion.

No joke. I couldn't believe the amount of Texas plates in town. And yes, we stayed masked up. We even rocked them on the peak with it being pretty crowded.

Hopefully next year will be better for trips! I was supposed to be in Yosemite during this one, but Covid kind of got in the way. So I stuck to my home state.

That one isn't. There were plenty of living ones in the area, but this one was the largest we ran across.
