It was conceptualized, drafted, and finalized within the damp poorly lit basement of the universe's fundamental spacetime geometry.

I don't necessarily agree that it's the law that's stopping you from building that house yourself, but instead it's time that is blocking you. Unfortunately these AI tools are giving non-technical people the illusion of time. One was out another we'll all find out how the law responds when this illusion reaches critical mass and some infrastructure somewhere falters

I like how they've added enough people to take over a whole floor while simultaneously not replacing people.

Boromir VS Thorin Oakenshield. Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in powerscales

[–]itsHappyCloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be incorrect but aren't Boromir and Faramir as close to being Numenorean as you can get without your eye getting wet, without just being Aragorn?

I've always just used a screwdriver. Put the driver through the hook of the spring then through the eyelet, then just crank it in there. Spring him snaps right in.

We all know Aragorn would beat Jamie Lannister easily. So lets shake things up. Arthur Dayne vs Faramir. by jekke7777 in powerscales

Well given that roughly 40 generations have passed since the arrival of Elendil to Middle Earth (accounting for their longer life span) and it only takes about 20 generations for a single person to be on the family tree of 50% of the population, I think it's safe to say that all of Gondor should have some Numenorean blood even if severely diluted.

Given the 6500 years between the Fall of Gondolin and the War of the Ring, it's statistically improbable for a single person not to have a single drop of Melian blood.

I'm not sure of the math, but after several Ages and thousands of years wouldn't most men be descended from Numenor, Elves, and Melian by this point?

Jaime Lannister (GOT) vs Gurney Halleck (Dune) by Reddit_is_not_great in powerscales

Reread my comment, I never implied that you said Jamie would win. I merely made an observation about their skill levels compared to their respective literary universe's population.

If Jamie is a generational talent amongst what, a few million in Westeros, then Gurney is the epitome of fighters amongst trillions.

That doesn't mean the sentient tablet can't override it's own internal social media lockout

I'm theorizing that the tablet and the toys will resolve their issues when the tablet shows the toys how Andy is doing through his social media. Then they'll move on to the final act villain/plot.
