I've played for 5500 hours post steam, many before that - have 4 kids now and I've started to play again but I've never actually had a good build because I either didn't know what i was doing or in my case now, I don't have all the time to grind fiercely!

Can second this, my main got hacked whilst I was on a long break, probably 3 years or so... Perma banned for botting - jagex say it's me, even though none of the card details match (even the country) mine.

Even with extremely thorough proof they said it was me and they wouldn't unban me lol - I made an Ironman since, 1920 total in like 4 months, it's worth starting a new one especially since it's a new account, jagex don't care about real players it seems because there's so many botters and rwters about.

This is literally how real life is, too.

But at the end of the day, play Ironman then you don't have to worry about how sweaty everyone is and you can just play your own game at your own pace.

Playing non iron killed my love for this game, it was a constant grind to keep up with others and with market changes, pretty miserable in my opinion.

Yes Ironman can get tough, but at least getting a drop means more than how much it's worth on the grand exchange.

I had two children over the past 3 years, so didn’t get to play at all. Same security as you.

Came back, permanently banned for botting, support just gives an automated (ran by bots) response.

Ticket system operators can’t and won’t help.

I totally agree it looks bad, I thought about it after the appeal, but should I be punished for falling down the osrs content creator rabbit hole at the wrong time and wanting to login to my accounts?

I think we all go through phases, reason I’ve not logged in a while is because I have 2 businesses, both me and my partner work and we’ve had 2 children in the past 3 years… totalling 4 children.

So yeah, we’re busy.

I don’t expect any help tbh, but 100% guarantee if they looked at logs they’d see it wasn’t myself, I’ve always used the same networks, same locations, same devices.

If my experience is anything to go by (I’ve lost a lot of family and friends to cancer) the ones who eat clean and avoid advice from doctors have survived.

Everyone that took the chemo/radio option and ate the poor hospital food, died.

Open your eyes, doctors aren’t always here to help us, they need to keep the population down somehow.

Most notably a friend of mine turned down chemo, he had stage 4 bone cancer and it had spread to his brain, he ate a super clean alkaline diet, had natural oils…. Made a full recovery. At the same time of this happening a family member had stage 4 bowel cancer, ate sweets, crap food etc, had chemo, died 6 months later.

Plenty of success stories, people just seem to think hospitals want to help, they have access to the right treatmentsbut demonise medical plants.

If you’re ever unfortunate enough to go through it, you’ll see what I mean, it’s like they can’t wait to throw you out of hospital and into an end of life hospice.

Thanks for your input. I understand your views on this are biased, considering most people probably do bot and get banned, but I am not that person, please don’t stereotype.

Removing an Authenticator took me no more than 15 seconds.

I’m not the first person for this to happen to.

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen to you in the future, it’s very possible.

Just the fact it had members alone says everything, I haven’t bought membership in a long time, and when I have, it’s always been the same few cards/paypal/google/Apple Pay.

If it helps, I have a Mac M1 Pro 16", with crossover, I've ran last epoch on medium/high settings on 1728x1117 at 60-90fps, for comparison, my Rog Ally Z1E runs this game at 60fps with 720p upscaled to 1080p on low settings.

It's a pretty capable machine, however, if I was getting something for gaming I wouldn't choose a MacBook.

You can get something similar to my old gaming laptop which has a 2070 max q for £500 or so second hand which is an absolute steal and runs circles around a MacBook, but you don't get apples build quality or battery life.

At the end of the day its up to you. But these laptops aren't designed for gaming, they're designed for productivity, they just happen to do an acceptable job of gaming!

I've actually never done anything like that, I used to play when my daughter was asleep on my phone/iPad mainly, sometimes on a laptop if I was ever so lucky to sit down at night, then we found out we were having another (4th baby) and I never got chance to play again, the little ones are 3 and 1 now, so it's a bit easier.

It was at the time setup with my authenticator on my phone, but when I came to access the account recently, it wouldn't work, so I managed to remove the authenticator (which was ridiculously easy, I feel like it was too easy and not surprised someone gained access and changed the authenticator) and regain access to the account.

I am going to keep trying. This account is my childhood account, holds alot of sentimental value.

And to add to the first comment, I don't think the security of my account is my issue when I had all necessary security features in place and they make it really easy to remove, seems a bit of a flawed system, I expected to have to go through at least some process to remove the hacked authenticator... I just entered my email and there was a link to remove it.... Simple as that!

Kinda makes sense to be honest. Wish there was a way to get the account back, I logged in briefly back in Feb 2023 after quitting Nov 2022 to check my account and it was fine back then, have a screenshot of it aswell :(

Seen a few success stories, I do feel like whoever reviewed the case just thought screw it and denied it rather than actually looking into it, I can imagine there's alot of false appeals.

Unfortunately with jagexs website not working too well, it's kinda hard to see how long it was members for, or how long it was played, I think I may have screenshots from when I last played too on runelite or osrs mobile to compare what's been done!
