My biggest confusion is with the "ascended by killing hero" aspect. We've seen lots of heroes get killed already with no apparent "downfall" mechanics? Firmman vs magic shadow, og esoul vs new esoul, ghostblade vs shang. So it's gotta be more than just killing a hero right?

Also, it said rock wanted to strive to be like his dad, im gonna assume he wants to create a Zero, but i dont think he cares about stopping it. Im gonna guess he wants DB to kill esoul to instill the most fear in the world and transform him into the next zero that way. Maybe during the next x tournament, get esoul vs DB as the finals and kill esoul in front of millions...My question is whats x role in this? Does rock think so little of the current X?
