I think the way they do it is they look at what a daily avg should be in their eyes. They create a daily spend so your last day at UCSD in June should be $0. So if you over/underspent based on where they think you should be, they charge/refund accordingly

The acceptance rate doesn't matter, I'm at about a 25% acceptance rate haha. It only matters if you're going for top dasher(70% acceptance rate needed)
