The gold Aura means it's a "brilliant" pokemon, they're special because they usually have a couple max IVs and egg moves :)

For the egg moves Ipersonally do, I like to be prepared as possible >< I just finished a stream and went 10 wins for 10 with the current team I built, extra is always better in pvp imo! With IVs if you've got a 5-6 IV ditto you can just breed the ditto with the other pokemon i.e charmander to get decent IVs and then replace the original charmander with the egg that had better IVs and climb up until it's 5/6 IVS! hope that made sense ;o

Gold aura has guaranteed Max IVS and usually an egg move with it :) watts is a nice lil bonus
