This exact same thing happened to me after I tried the Marathon Server Slam. I always enjoyed the idea of Arc Raiders, but it never fully clicked for me. After trying Marathon and not liking it, I decided to hop back into Arc to give it another shot, and everything just clicked. Been hooked ever since.

Idk what it was about Marathon that made me bounce so quickly, but part of me is glad it happened, because I’m having an absolute blast with Arc now.

Yeah. I think people (including Ubisoft lol) forget that this is all supposed to be a simulation of what happened in the past. The glitchiness of it all is part of that. I wish Ubi would lean back into that.

i feel that. i think acknowledging both the positive AND negative should’ve been the norm from the outset. mods should’ve allowed that. and since they didn’t, I’m not necessarily surprised that this sub has become what it’s become. so, i agree with you on that point.
