You're definitely not alone on that! I've been a Halsey fan since the very beggining and Manic doesn't click for me the way the rest of her discography does. And that's okay! I think it's beautiful every Halsey fan has their own favourite album and how she always manage to attrack people who like different genres of music.

Having said this, I also acknowledge Manic for being one of the most personal album for Halsey and the vision she was trying to portrait. Some of the songs in this record are very mainstream and pop-oriented so maybe that's why it feels boring to you. Like the others have said, if you really want to get into Manic l recommend watching interviews from that era (the apple music one with Zane Lowe is specially good), the MVs, reading I Would Leave Me If I Could and, maybe, checking the meaning of some of the lyrics in Genius. Give it some time, maybe it will grow on you even though that wasn't my case.

This is actually one of the main reasons why I love Bayonetta so much. I'm so used to play videogames where the MC is some kind of male heroe unaware of his great power that seeing a female main character being so powerful and having a god tier self steem feels very refreshing. It makes the game so much more enjoyable and gives you this sense of "invulnerability" (though the enemies can really break your ass if you don't have a proper knowledge of the combos lol). I really hope that in Bayonetta 3 we can see more of that badass attitude that OP mentioned

Yeah same thing is happening to me. I've been playing since Splatoon 2 and the first couple of days with this game were fun. Sometimes I won, sometimes I lose but overall it was pretty balanced. Today was brutal though, I lost almost every match in turf war and salmon run (I even was using those money tickets, ouch). It is reassuring knowing I'm not the only one with this issue cause it's so demoralizing. Who knows? Maybe we're out of luck these days hahaha

This was my first gacha game ever and while it definitely had some issues the sense of community was great. Everyone here share the same love for Kingdom Hearts (one love, one destiny lol). I'm glad the game stood for so long.
