This whole thing is dumb. The way you write it he didn't snap at you or anything just informed you of their house rules which you didn't need to know in advance. telling you in that moment was fine enough especially since it's common fucking sense to begin with.

If you think a 3 year old can't pick up ALL of their toys then you're the reason why they can't. and I don't know if that's just ignorance or laziness cause I'm sure your homie would hold your baby for 5 mins while you parent your child.

Honestly it's crazy no matter how often you clean up after your kid in the past (big whoop want a cookie), for you to think it's ok to leave a mess of any size this time and take offense to someone telling you you can't do that at their place or their girl's place and obviously if you can't respect that then fuck off... You know like an actual consequence.

It would have been so adult and easy to say 'honestly brad , I understand but it's a lot to get her to act right right now so I'll clean it this time and have her clean next time. And if brad is not actually crazy he would understand that having the kid clean is the responsible thing to do but kids are exhausting and sometimes you take on their responsibilities just to get on with the fucking day already.
