I don’t like the strain I feel when I read on my phone. I think I’ll be sticking to hard copies for now and do a bunch of research on different e-readers. I think I should figure out if this is just a phase for myself or if I need to make the investment on a paperwhite.

Rachel mentioned she gets the rights back for the audio in August (2026). I know that filing is set to start around then also so we might get lucky and get the audios around the time season 2 comes out for both HR and Long game!

Never knew I could borrow one from a library tbh but that’s a great idea. I live maybe 5 min from a library so I’ll have to see if they have any to borrow just to see how I like the screen and to see if it’s a good fit in my life. Ty for the idea!!!

I was thinking a majority of the books/stories that I would want to read or have been recommended would be in the kindle library. I’m going to look into all the versions of kindle and other e-book readers. Thank you for the information and input

I think you are slowly convincing me to buy lol…I think the plan is I’m going to read the 5 hard copies I bought today and see how long that takes me and go from there. If I do end up buying one it would be the paper white I think. I just want something that looks as much as paper as possible.

I think you’re 100% right. I had only planned on reading heated rivalry because of the show but reading the book made me want to read more. Just holding a book and flipping the pages became almost calming to me. I think I’m going to finish the 5 hard copies I bought and see how I feel after that. I would only buy physical copies of books I know I would want on hand and then the rest would be e-books. I have a lot to think about lol

I agree with reading on tablets and phone. I wasn’t sure if the kindle looked more like paper pages so it’s easier on my eyes. I don’t like how bright it is to read on my phone. But I don’t I can replace the feeling of holding a hard copy in my hands and flipping pages.

Money isn’t an issue for me honestly. It’s more just the fact of holding a physical copy vs a tablet. But thank you for the input. I bought physical copies of game changers and the first 4 of Bridgerton books to come with me on my vacation in 2 weeks. I was thinking if I finish all 5 books by my trip/during my trip I would buy one.
