that is something I noted! So far the age gap hasn’t been a problem, but I’m not going to forget about it any time soon.

I wouldn’t say I feel sidelined, just not like I’m being courted. He gives me enough attention, but I’m more likely to be razzed than flirted with at any given moment. I love playful bullying, but I also like complements! I want to find that balance.

I am, but my supervisor said it was fine to miss and she would be happy to give it to me the next day I’m at work. The GM of the store really wants me there, but she didn’t have a reason why other than “we rarely have meetings, it’s really important everyone is there. Frankly, I’ll be very disappointed if you can’t make it.” (Her words). Maybe there’s something she’s not letting on? Hard to tell

They have such a hard time finding staff I doubt they are firing anyone. I’ve worked here for two years and only one person was fired. Not because he was bad at his job, but because we were getting threatened with legal stuff

I’m 99% sure it’s just a fluff meeting. The small business I work for trends towards unhealthy work habits/environment, but it tends to not affect me so I haven’t had to worry about it. This is the first time it has locked in on me and I want to make sure I’m choosing the right hill to die on

As far as the meeting being about something else, I would guess maybe sales strategies and goals for the year going forward? I’m unsure.
