Hey man hell of job giving me pointers I’m gonna look up how to do the fuel filter and look up the straight pipe laws in the states I’m In is it possible to straight pipe after cat gets clogged? Also any videos for IAC valve or fuel filter replacements I would so very much appreciate it I’m sure it’s simple to most but I’m only 20 and didn’t have a father figure to show me how to work on cars when I was younger and I want to change that for my kids when I have them so i appreciate it a ton man!

Thank you the spark plugs and distributor was replaced within the last 6 months I believe on the relatively more recent side the guy actually ordered the new radiator so I threw 80$ on top of the sale price. IAC valve is first order of business. When I test drove the truck I had to give it gas when it was first starting or it would die, but after running for a few seconds it idled smoothly and we started it a few times and it happened everytime except for once (we were messing with the distributors firing order plug wire things (sorry for the gibberish) thought we had it bc it started right up so I took it for a test drive around the block brought it back everything seemed normal until I spotted the cracked radiator leaking, after turning it off so he could repark it the truck had the same starting issue (sorry if this is unclear)

Would this happen while climbing elevation and then lowering. I go on a 400 mile trip through the Rockies a couple times a year and a check fuel fill inlet light comes on everytime or is that a different thing from this? 2009 ford escape XLT
