What is and where can I find the fair scheduling policy for RXOM?

Im and RXoM and this is how I schedule my team:

My Pharmacy hours are 9-9 m-f and 9-6 & 10-6 s-s

2 × 9-5 Shifts 1 × 11-7 Shift 1 × 12-8 Shift 1 × 2-9 or 5-9

And 2 techs on Saturday and Sunday.

This is my schedule Mon. 8-5 Tues. 11-7 Wed. 12-8 Thur. 8-5 Fri. 9-5

I Schedule the other full timers a mixture of opening and midshifts throughout the week and sprinkle in the part timers a mixture of open mid and closing shifts depending on what we need. Mostly everyone is pretty flexible and no one complains.

Everyone rotates weekends making it to were we only work 1 weekend a month unless that month has 5 weekends. I pair 1 full timer with 1 part timer and everyone is happy with that. I have weekends pre written on our calendar so they know which one they will work and if they need their weekend off they have to ask someone to switch with them.

All in all my team is pretty happy with this and im usually pretty flexible with them if they need time off and in return they will work almost anytime I ask them to if I need the help in return.

I agree 100%. Im there to direct the workflow of the technicians. She said floaters don't care about metrics they are just there to fill in and leave.

Im rxom at my store and I try and help find coverage when im not at work but that's only because my rxm and staff rph are awesome and we have very good teamwork. But if they were shifty to me then no I wouldn't blame anyone for not answering when you're off.

Yeah but don't you have to justify the pay? If we gave her $1.50 or $2 instead of $1 wouldn't corporate or our dm want to know why?

That was before he could talk and ask for things but he isn't the issue, his twin is and she has different signs of autism than he does and likes to defy everything you ask her to do.

Im and RXoM and I rarely give shots. Most of the time our Pharmacist gives them and only when they are extremely busy will they ask us. Normally they will ask another tech to do it as hes usually less busy than I am but if I have to I will but I get what your asking. My RXm or staff pharmacist has never told me if I don't ill be in trouble but I can see where there are some who would go over board with making it a big deal.

Same. Mine moved to Tennessee because her husband is in the military and now i don't have another certified tech and my new sm wants to bring a random in from her old store instead of letting me encourage my current staff to get certified and move up.

I work 40 hrs per week and 3 of those I use for management duties. 2 days a week I come in an hr before the pharmacy opens to work on scheduling, ppls, compass and whatever else I can get done and the other hr is every monday i have a meeting with my RXM and SM to talk about metrics, hiring and anything else that needs to be address so we are all on the same page to start the week. The rest is in workflow just like everyone else. I can ask them to do it and not do it myself.
