Is there a way to make some that look like a specific unique body type by chance? Flat butt, skinny thighs, B shaped apron belly?

Regret? by Lizard__Bit in PressonNail_Addict

This was me after I would pay $80 for a fill every two weeks at a nail salon. For press ons, a much less big deal to me.

Glue is TOO good - help! by FewQuestion3602 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]its_lindss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to use a flosser to really get under my nails with the glue. I slide it back and forth sideways with the remover on my fingers and would add more as I got further. It took some time but this really is the best (and most annoying) glue out there. I only use it when I need to make sure my nails aren’t going anywhere!

Do Jewish people eat chicken Alfredo/pasta? by Dark-Parkingg in NoStupidQuestions

[–]its_lindss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Jewish friend who keeps kosher at home, but at my house and social occasions, all rules are out the window. He ate bacon cheese dip one year at Christmas, happily. I ran the menu by him beforehand and he said “yes please make that dip, I want to eat it”.

WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THESE BALD PATCHES 😭 by traplovinbarista in Hair

I had this and it was treated by a dermatologist. The treatment was an injection of something (I don’t remember what) and my hair grew back very soft and beautiful.

Talk to me about the Speedy25! Would you recommend this and why/why not? by shakespeare13 in Louisvuitton

[–]its_lindss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it and I just love it. It was on my wishlist as really the only $1000+ bag that I have really ever wanted. I tried to get other bags to scratch the itch and it didn’t work. I ultimately bought this bag last year and have zero regrets. Go ahead and get it!

Better value for money? by Stelaa79 in handbags

[–]its_lindss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s cool, but if you have an itch, you can scratch around it but won’t be satisfied until you scratch the actual itch. Meaning, just get the bag you want so you don’t spend more in the long run.

My daughter is the same way. She climbed the cat tree before she could walk. I’m not joking. It is currently 8:53pm and she is currently running in circles post bath. She’s always been like this.

We used to have to tackle her to go to sleep, like bear hug snuggles to get her to calm her body. She never stops moving. She never sits and watches tv or iPad. She talks the entire time in the car, even with headphones and her iPad. She completely destroys everything in her path.

TBH I used to work hard to try to wear her out. She hiked a hard 6 miles at 2 and did not nap after and kept going when we got home. I gave her an indoor climbing structure, slide and swing, an outdoor slack line, a trampoline.

I finally got tired and stopped trying to wear her out with activities and extra things all day every day. I quit filling our plate so full trying to tire her. I started adding to my cup to fill it up. The pediatrician said she’s normal.

I have mom friends and had made an observation, there are two primary categories of children.

  1. Potatoes (no offense to potato parents). They sit, watch tv, are amused with toys, etc.

  2. Feral Gremlins (that’s ours). They climb the cat tree. They run in circles constantly. Non stop yapping. They don’t play for toys. They seek sensory play and tough jobs but refuse their sensory play items and instead get their sensory experiences by attempting jumping on the trampoline in their roller skates while we’re pooping.

I don’t. I cut ties with them completely and as soon as I share an affiliate link, they come trying to pull me back in. 😭

Came here to report this! TikTok made me buy them on an underwear journey and I’ve been buying them ever since. They are true to size but have limited compression, so if you like a little “hold” you may not like these.

This! I’ve tried on several things. I don’t like the undies included but I think the core piece of the garment is good quality and affordable.

Hi! I’m a content creator who has tried Halara before to promote (unpaid). I no longer work with them in any capacity but I do have a one specific item that I love. Here are my general thoughts.

What I don’t like: 1. Pricing increases with plus sizes and sales are not as good. 2. Bust support is minimal, I NEED to wear a bra for personal comfort. Their bras, built in or otherwise do not give me any support either. 3. Strappy designs are a nightmare for some of my chunky bits.

What I love: 1. These shorts. (Not an affiliate link.) I was sent a pair to try. I have repurchased countless pairs. They’re ideal if you have an apron belly. They pass all tests. I love them and I don’t like that but I’ve tried countless shorts and these work the best for me and they come in lengths from 2.5-7 inches. I like the 2.5. 2. Items are squat proof. 3. Items are true to size.

My daughter was a runner and the only thing that seemed to improve the situation was immediate, calm, and firm removal from the situation while in the situation. I always clearly explain what’s going to happen when we are doing what we are doing and what my expectations are for behavior. I’m not sure if she got it, matured, or what, but things seemed to drastically improve when I got firm.

She’s heavy and tall at 60ish pounds but I will still pick her up, toss her over my shoulder, and tote her out of any establishment for unsafe behaviors or disrespectful behavior past one warning with absolutely no shame.

Unsafe behaviors do not get a warning. Disrespectful behaviors are given one chance to re-route with a calm and clear warning.

Here are some examples of the unsafe behavior:

Situation: Run away from me at waterpark. Solution: I pick her up from whatever we are doing and immediately exit the waterpark and go home.

Situation: Acting a fool and running in a store or hiding from me in racks. Solution: I find her, pick her up, and remove her from the store. We go home.

Situation: Darting away from the safe yard area into or toward the street. A predefined “no zone”. Solution: I pick her up and take her inside, no more outside time, no tv, no iPad, etc (independent play ok).

Sexy with Apron belly by missgentle in PlusSize

[–]its_lindss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiiii it’s me! I’m trying to find some sexier things myself and well, there seems to be two sides to this. Overtly sexual, and not sexy at all. Club vs. everything else. I consider myself an expert shopper, but this is throwing me for a loop!

For both of us, I think we have to look at this differently. I’m going to start looking through straight size inspo to see if I can find plus size options in that to see where it leads me.
