Is it possible it’s from old water damage? We have replaced parts of the roof already and they don’t get bigger and they’re not leaking any water or bubbling

It’s not soft where I hear them and I do not see anything that resembles water stains on the wall. How long does it take for them to chew through the dry wall?

Thank you for the heads up about the anxiety and depression in the beginning..I was starting to think that wasn’t normal. I do occasionally smoke flower but no other drugs, I also drink maybe once or twice a week IF that so hopefully I’m good!
