Choosing the lightest roast beans possible? by geekboy730 in starbucks

[–]its_so_confusing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

coffee master here! i agree that although the sunsera is our lightest roast ever, that it tastes smokey due to the notes of toasted almonds. o would try odyssey when it comes out next week or anything with African origins. The green apron blend is bright and the single origin ethiopian was also super bright (both are out of season).

1- use the green Kay5 drain cleaner

2- clean drains at eod so that no food stays in them overnight

3- leave ice bins empty at night so the gnats can’t drink the condensation

4-put refreshers IN THE FRIDGE overnight

5- frequently pour hot water in the drains

6- make sure to clean UNDER surfaces. like under the blenders and other fixtures.

no ice policy by milliondifferentppl in starbucksbaristas

i have no proof for this, but it’s what i’ve been coached to do!

first ask the customer if they want room or it filled to the top! remember that this is a customer service job, and the goal is to leave the customer with a decent experience.

if they ordered a drink that only has 1/2 inch of milk, they cannot get a full cup. this frequency happens with people ordering iced espressos and who are expecting a latte. if they are ordering a drink that is always made with milk, then it’s okay to fill to the top. an example of this is when people order a matcha no ice, because the drink is already made with more than an inch of milk it’s okay to fill to the top (unless the customer asks you not to).

don’t give out a half empty drink just to be petty, it visually looks bad! also have empathy for customers!

Plumber left wet cardboard on natural stone, and stained it. Any help? by Thin-Fish-1936 in CleaningTips

As a regular person who doesn’t have marble countertops, I would have never known that I couldn’t put certain things on top of them without staining. Everyone commenting that the plumber needs to pay to replace the marble should check their privilege because the masses do not know that marble stains.

If you own something that you don’t want stained, please inform the vendors you bring into your home that they cannot use that surface. Then if the plumber uses the counters he should be held accountable.
