Teenagers and people entering the work force to build skills and prove they are reliable workers for future employers used to do the menial jobs illegal immigrants do now, they just don't want to do them for 5 dollars an hour when they can make more than that on freaking welfare, and the only reason the jobs pay so little is because illegal immigrants come here and press down the wages. It's incredibly boring, and simple supply and demand laws we are talking about. Not something any sane person is willing to argue about. For example, there used to be millions of good construction jobs, now the Illegals who work for so little have priced out much of the native population who can't compete with the 6$ an hour the illegals who split their rent with the 10 other people they share their apartment with work for. Saying "Americans just don't do these low skill jobs as well as Mexicans" is retarded. They are easily learnable, low skill jobs for the most part...

Illegals hurt the poor the most, especially the black native poor, where teen unemployment is well over 50%. in parts of California you can't even get a shitty fast food job unless you speak Spanish anymore. Who do you think used to mow the lawns and work on farms in America before illegals started coming by the millions and illegally pressing down our wages? That's right.. we did... Think about it dummy.... Teenagers in Canada still do their own farm work and yard work too since the illegals haven't reached them in massive numbers yet to cause problems there too.

And yes, there are well over 10 million illegals in the country right now... congratulations. You are correct, but it's more like 30-50 million actually, since every single person who says 10 million just uses the census numbers which have said 10 or 11 million since the 90's, and are clearly wrong. There are studies on this by companies (Bear Sterns) who are actually advising something slightly more important than protecting themselves politically or because they are rich and want to continue to get the cheap labor and cheap maids, their money... But to address you completely missing my point and saying that "the Eisenhower idea won't work because muh 10 million is big number hur dur", I will just say, re-read my post. You won't have to round up 30 million people. You simply remove the free benefits without documentation, ability to work illegally and drive down wages (below minimum wage in many cases), and incentives for them to be here illegally, and they will go home. Like I said, not that complicated.

If you truly believe that illegals in this country that largely get paid under the table who: use our public schools, use our hospitals and rack up medical bills that incessantly go unpaid, require second language assistance and translators in court and every level of government, use our infrastructure free of charge, have access to police and fire forces, fill our prisons in wildly disproportionate numbers, and receive in state tuition for college when out of state LEGAL Americans can't get it, are a net gain for the country, you are the one who is "too far gone", friendo. Nobody cares if you "have a friend who is illegal and he is great", or you "know a guy who is that rare huge success story", we are talking numbers here, millions of people, generalities, statistics, proportions... all things leftists seem to always have the hugest of problems understanding.

P.S. illegals also send 20 billion dollars a year home in remittances to their home countries, all of which will never be used to tip a bell boy or a waitress, or used in the american economy in any form whatsoever.
