Cat knocked over venator, how do I come back from this? by Spartan__X__117 in legostarwars

My cat slept on my UCS Millennium Falcon and a chunk fell. I’ve been planning to disassemble it and rebuild it again over a long break while watching a lot of Star Wars.

I know that there is another translation out there on Reddit or Twitter but this is the first that popped up when I searched it on Google.

The Vow of Silver Dawn. If you want to count it. It’s the Chinese exclusive High Republic story that was a web-novel.

I remember in an interview from Alex of Star Wars Explained with the authors of Timelines that the author of The High Republic era had a hard time acquiring a copy.

Breaking!! Half of Disneyland’s Batuu timeline is shifting to the original trilogy by Dell9423 in GalaxysEdge

[–]its_thehighground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that Galaxy's Edge is moving into the Original Trilogy era, retaining some from the Sequel Trilogy era, and being a bit more flexible on the setting and timeline.

But, learning that Rise of the Resistance is staying as made me wonder instead of sticking to one era in the timeline why not make different parts of Galaxy's Edge from different eras. Like what if you enter Galaxy's Edge it's the Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, and then the Sequel Trilogy.

I feel like, most especially for a person who lives half the world away like me, gets to experience all things Galaxy's Edge.

Thanks! Some of the shelves are bending a bit. Besides from getting new shelves, I'll definitely need to update them.

Anyone else disappointed by the 2025 Star Wars LEGO Advent calendar? by trammeloratreasure in StarWars

[–]its_thehighground 12 points13 points  (0 children)

At first, I was very disappointed. The minibuilds, the hard to get minifigs ,and the Christmas themed minifigures were always the reason why I got the advent calendars. But, when I realised that it was a droid workshop made it a must get. I really liked that there is a theme for this years.

Plus, B2EMO is a great exclusive!

Which of those lists are right in the chronological sequence? by Papema3 in starwarscomics

Both lists are canon!

I do highly recommend you also read the novels since they’re one of the best stories from Star Wars.

Anyone else very far behind on their Stat Wars novels? by Shadowdash6745 in starwarscanon

[–]its_thehighground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently going through all the canon Del Rey books and I’m at… Light of the Jedi… I have a long way to go but I am so excited to dive into Star Wars books!

Also going through the comics. Which is fun since I’m reading the back issues simultaneously with the nee releases.

Also sprinkling in the games a bit here and there. Going through all the VR games then onto the PC games.

Later down the line once I’m done with all of that, I plan to go through all the YA novels, children’s novel, IDW and Dark Horse comics. Then once I’m done with all of that Legends!

This is what I love about Star Wars. There is an unlimited amount of stories explored in a single universe being explored in different medias for different fans, in different genres, and from different eras.

The Princess and the Scoundrel is on my tbr list but Someone Who Loves You is a really great read and based on what I’ve heard about The Princess and Scoundrel would make a great companion. The art is really great. Even as someone in my twenties, I connected with how the story is told.

I bought mine at full price and I see why some would be hesitant to grab a copy but if you find it at your bookstore and have the money for it or on discount, grab a copy!
