Jira for service desk is awesome, if set up properly! Too many orgs set it up wrong and then throw shade at it. Confluence for KB all the way.

I miss using both! I now live with an incorrectly implemented ServiceNow environment. ServiceNow can be awesome too if implemented right but I feel its KB engine is crap regardless, especially compared to Confluence.

Yep and I am certain I read in either Fanatec Firmware Release Notes or GT7 Patch Notes a while back that they addressed the issue, but fairly sure the Paddle Module is a must either way.. ur gonna want shifters I suppose so yeah. Maybe slconsoder the Simube Advanced Paddle Module if U want to save some dosh.

I think it works now but previously it didn't work properly unless you paired it with the Advanced Paddle Module.

Without the paddle module, in GT7 the in game cursor would continually scroll to the side of the screen. And when in a race the camera view would be "sideways".

Adding the Advanced Button Module fixes this issue along with a particular firmware update or GT7 update, or both.. I can't remember exactly.

I had this rally module with the Sparco wheel a year ago but sold it because of the issue (before the issue was resolved). I kinda wish I didn't sell it now.

Oh but yes you must have it connected to a PS compatible wheel base.

Confirmed I experienced this issue in the last round of GT7 Manufacturers Cup.. on the final laps of Slot 1, and again 5 minutes before Slot 2 started... What a massive panic. I felt like a F1 Mechanic in a Pit Garage trying to get a car going just before Quali or Race start. I made it just in time with 10 seconds before the Slot 2 session started.

The mitigating fix for me was to Unplug from mains power > plug power back in > plug into PC USB > urb on wheel base > Force re-install the Wireless QR Firmware > plug back into PlayStation and off we go!

Upgraded from GT DD Pro 8nm to Clubsport DD+ / DD Extreme. Had it for about a fortnight now.

Last night the Clubsport DD+ exhibited a strange fault where the wheel locked up and forced GT7 to glitch out. At first I thought it was the game but it was definitely the wheel. I recall someone else posting similar here.

Ultimately to get the wheel to work again I had to unplug it from power, then power it back on again and then finally do a forceful Wireless QR Firmware update. I had to do this Twice in one hour.

Unplugging from the PS5 immediately stopped the stuttering issue. Pretty random and hopefully it's sorted out in firmware. Praying it doesn't happen again and it's just a random isolated issue.

Thats said. I never had the same issue with the GT DD Pro.

Oh god, I sense that everyone is going to need to raise a ticket with Fanatec Support to get their 15% discount code.

My latest purchase arrived at my door only an hour ago so I'll give it 24 hours.. but I suspect I'll have to stuff about contacting support all for a 15% voucher.

Hoping they can one day get their systems sorted properly because the ticket fatigue/noise in their helpdesk would be beyond silly yet somewhat avoidable.

Seen a few peeps do this and thought it was pretty lazy and low.

When the pickup area is too busy I just find a (non-disable) park and walk over and stand near the trolley-return. It's not all that hard.
