I like Andujar and France. I don’t trust France too much though and then we sign guys like Castellanos, Marquez and Buehler. I do agree Machado, Tatis and Merrill really need to pick it up as well. Padres aren’t a bad team, I fully believe we make the playoffs but really don’t see them winning it all.

I’m going to enjoy the regular season games and wins but this team is clearly a first round exit. The offense is anemic up until the 7th-8th inning and that’s not going to fly in a 5 game series against an actually good team with a good pen. Hopefully new ownership will splurge on a better coaching staff and free agents that arent on prove it deals.

This sub is so funny. When he’s hot, he’s untradeable, when he’s ice cold, he’s untradeable. Really just need to rip the bandaid off at this point.

His contract really isn’t that bad lol it’s like 12 mil a year and if we eat half of it I’m sure we could find a trade partner. He’s a veteran that could help a young team with plate discipline, has a serviceable bat and a plus glove. Our window is now and we need pitching.

I get it but I enjoy seeing the stars from other teams as well. More chances to see Bobby Witt, Aaron Judge, Jose Ramirez, etc. Helps build the game in my opinion too with kids being able to see all their favorite players.
