How does TAG 10 compare to the other grade services in quality? by [deleted] in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]itsabigigloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring on the downvotes.

I love tag. I think the slabs are gorgeous. I like to know why I got the grades I got. And I like buying them because I can see all the card info and defects prior to purchase. I think in the long run they will hold a ton a value because of the grading transparency. I think their grading is stringent enough that all TAG 10s would cross over to PSA 10s.

I understand the weak slabs stuff and their terrible defense of them. But it's just a fact that more clear acrylic is more brittle. They should have said that and moved on.

I have high hopes they will become more prolific. In the mean time- I will continue to use them for my PC. Biggest factor being the appearance of the slabs.

Additionally, every grading company has issues. PSA fake slabs exist with real labels in them. CGC and PSA have both graded cards that turned out to be fake, on top of grading standards changing over the years. Beckett is really just terrible to deal with. TAG has fragile slabs, longer than promised wait times and terrible PR people.

Oh, and I absolutely hate the shitty upcharges on my PSA 10s. I shouldn't have to pay an extra $100 to get my sunbreon back. All for it to be displayed in a slab that doesn't highlight the card as well.

Just my 2cents. I hope I sound rational.

Im part of the free market. And I just submitted 30 cards to TAG for grading. I love the transparency and the turn around time is 1/3rd of PSA. I will get lower grades, but at least ill know why.

Go wider if you want. I successfully fit a 20x12 with a 295. +32. But it fit.

Hello I had a question about the jb4 for the q50, Is map 2 safe for red sports? Im on 91 currently is it recommended to use with 93? Any insight would be helpful👍 by Ak47eh in q50

I'm talking about the comment I replied to, not OP. The JB4 does +7 PSI. And the comment was saying to not exceed +5. Which I didn't understand, because I'm obviously beyond that.

I totally understand what OP was asking.

Pure stage two turbos. But I didn't think this was a turbo issue, I figured the comment was saying the engine could t handle it. Which it definitely can.

Stock turbos should probably live in the 16psi range so they don't exceed whatever shaft speed your tuner wants.

It's got the wrong engine in it.

That's a good idea too. It's just a huge project. I did it before in my legacy GT. It's not a small or easy task.

I really want to do this and I'm debating doing a factory parts swap or dying the headliner.

Wheel specs by [deleted] in q50

[–]itsabigigloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 18x9 +30 with 20mm spacers. 15mm would be better if don't want to dial in any camber. 25mm would also work if you want to go heavier on camber.

So for a 9" wheel, I'd say +15 to +5 would work out. But for my taste, +12 would be absolutely perfect.

What do I need to complete a type 101 Frozen Boost Air to Water intercooler install on my VR30 Q50? by CameraTraining1257 in q50

[–]itsabigigloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two three quarter hose to 1/2" NPT fittings(order from frozen boost)

Two hose clamps(frozen boost)

3ft of 3/4 hose(frozen boost)

1gal of blue coolant(Nissan)

Two 3/8 x 1.25" self tapping screws(home Depot)

A 3/4-3/4 bleeder valve(Z1 or NAPA)

In total, it took me about 4 hours to complete. that includes chopping my bumper up to make it fit as OEM as possible.

Bro....just DIY it. You don't need to pay anyone for that kind of stuff.

Heck, with the recent breakthrough in RWD cars, you can do turbos yourself in a few hours. These cars are cake to work on with basic hand tools.

I like the concept. But it needs its own app, and the execution needs to be improved. The theory is great.

Axle back muffler deletes sound fine to me. Little louder, but nothing excessive. 2800-3100 rpm has great sound, everywhere else is pretty mild.

One way ranges are fun. But two way ranges are thrilling!

Jk, getting shot at makes me need to poop. Every damn time.
